31 July 1985

Diana had nothing planned today, other than to go through some files and sign some papers for her charity.

She felt quite uncomfortable lately, as it is her seventh month and the bump is getting bigger everyday.

Diana could always feel her baby's movement everyday, this child is definitely the most active out of her three children. At least, during the pregnancy.

Diana was situated in her office right next to Charles office inside of Apartment 8, their home. Charles was busy going through files and documents as well next door so they were both being productive without actually going into the office.

Today however, though active 99% of the time, the baby was being awfully silent with little to no movement at all.

Suddenly, Diana felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. Gasping, she looked down to her blue tights only to see them soaked red with blood. With a sharp breath, she called out to Charles who was only next door.

"Charles! Can you come here quick please? I think something is wrong!"

She can hear rustling next door before Diana's door burst open and in came a frazzled Charles. Once she saw her husband, she stood up, displaying the ever-growing red patch by her crotch area.

Charles swore he could feel the blood drain from his face, thinking of his unborn child. He then looked up to Diana's eyes which are filled with pain and fear.

"I'll go call the drivers and St. Mary's, why don't you change into one of my joggers and we can head to the hospital real quick?"

Diana quickly cleaned herself off and changed into comfortable clothing before going downstairs and getting inside the car real quick. Though she did throw herself down the stairs during William's pregnancy to gain attention, none of her two boys were premature and they were all very healthy baby boys.

She can't help but think that something must be wrong with either her baby or herself.

When they got to St Mary's, they were quickly led inside through the private entrance and brought up to their rooms quickly and quietly. Charles were busy letting their families know that Diana has gone to the hospital and that there might be something wrong.

Once everyone was clued in to what is happening, Diana was getting comfortable on the bed with the nurses hooking her up to all sorts of wires, to check her heart rate, the baby's heart rate and to find out what is wrong.

The doctor came in not too long after the nurses finish hooking Diana up and examined her thoroughly.

They found out that Diana is entering early labour and that the child will be premature. With that being said, the doctors went into work quickly while Charles held Diana's hand, whispering soothing words to her ears to keep her calm through all the commotion.

Seven hours later, at 10:52PM, Diana gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, whom they named Victoria, after a strong Queen.

Victoria Elizabeth Mary Alexandra, came into the world as quiet as a mouse.

Diana was worried she couldn't hear the baby's cries.

"What's wrong? Charles? Why is our child not making a sound?" Diana looked around frantically.

The doctors, half were busy checking over the new born royal while the other half was busy cleaning up Diana.

The doctors and nurses crowd around the new Royal only to find her big eyes looking around the room in wonder, as if able to see the world around her.

"Congratulations, Your Royal Highnesses. You have a healthy baby girl."
