12 November 2016

It was a fairly easy day for both Henry and Tori since they have nothing scheduled until later that evening with the Festival of Remembrance. This would be the first time Henry would attend and he's actually looking forward to it.

There's something different with actually witnessing it with your own eyes compared to watching it on the telly.

As they prepared to leave Lancaster House to go to the Royal Albert Hall, Tori dressed in a simple black dress with little to no jewellery and a poppy pinned to her chest while Henry wore a black everyday suit with black and red stripped tie, matching with William and a poppy pinned to his chest as well.

It was a fairly short drive towards Royal Albert Hall, and once they have arrived, they were greeted by Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Falzon at the side entrance.

Tori and Henry arrived right before Will and Kate and was escorted to where the rest of the family was situated while waiting for The Queen to arrive.

Sure, Henry has seen the Festival of Remembrance many times before, but being here inside the building, with a poppy pin on his chest, felt almost surreal to him in some sort of way.

It was one of those moments where Henry looked to his side to see the Prime Minister sitting there and when he looked to the other side, he saw other dignitaries seated there. It was one of the events that Henry could not believe his eyes that he was seated there and actually witnessing all of this.

They waited for The Queen to arrived before taking their places inside the royal box.

Tori and Henry were seated right behind Will and Kate and remained standing during the Queen's fanfare.

Once The Queen and Prince Philip have taken their seats, the rest of the family followed their example and take their seats as well.

As the Combined Bands of Her Majesty's Armed Forces kick start the festival, Tori reached for Henry's hand and held it tightly with Henry squeezing back saying that he's okay. It has become some sort of body language between them during events as a way for Victoria to make sure that her Henry is okay.

It was a somber event, for a somber time to remember those who have fallen.
