It had been a month since summer began. My family was off doing their own thing. I was in the empty ballroom, laying in the sun that was coming through the windows. The quidditch world cup was coming up soon, and my family is having a party here at the castle, a day after. I was so exited for the theme this year. A masquerade. And I heard my cousin might be coming. I haven't seen him in about four years.
The light of the sun warmed my skin. Feeling inspirational, I decided to sing a song. I opened my eyes, making sure no one is around before I begin.
"I've seen the world
Done it all
Had my cake now
Diamonds, brilliant
And bel air now"
I smiled at how my voice echoed off the walls of the ballroom.
"Hot summer night
Mid july
When you and I were forever wild
The crazy days
The city lights
The way you'd play with me like a child"
"Will you still love me
When I'm no longer beautiful"
"I've seen the world
Lit it up as my stage now
Channeling angels in
The new age now"
"Hot summer days
Rock and roll
The way you'd play for me at your show
And all the ways
I got to know
Your pretty face and electric soul"
"Will you still love me
When I'm no longer young and beautiful
Will you still love me
When I got nothing but my aching soul
I know you will, I know you will, I know that you will"
"Will you still love me
When I'm no longer beautiful"
"Dear lord, when I get to heaven
Please let me bring my man
When he comes"
I couldn't help but think of draco at this part. Since school has been out, we've been spending much time together. And I can't help but start to really like him.
"Tell me that you'll let him in
Father, tell me if you can
Oh that grace, oh that body
Oh that face makes me wanna party
He's my sun
He makes me smile like diamonds"
"And will you still love me
When I'm no longer beautiful
Will you still love me
