~~~~~~nine months later~~~~~~
"Mom! We need to go now!" I yell to my mom in pain. She runs down the stairs "I'm coming, I'm coming. I can't believe this is happening! This is all just so exciting." I look at her with a bad expression on my face.
"There is nothing exciting about this situation. I'm in pain!" She just laughs. "You got yourself into this mess. I told you what would happen. Now you have to deal with the pain." I roll my eyes and slowly make my way out of the house and into the car.
We pull up at the hospital. "Where's Andy!? He should've been here by now!" I ask my mom as she gets a wheelchair from the lobby. "I don't know Brielle, I called him." "Call again!"
She pushes me into the hospital and gets me checked in. "Hi, my daughter sprained her ankle." She tells the receptionist dude all my information as I take out my phone out of my pocket and text my boyfriend.
I haven't been in a hospital since that thing with Koralee and Beanca. Speaking of which, I haven't called Beanca in a few days so after I text Andy, I text her too.
Just when I sent a text to Beanca, Andy rushes through the door. He runs straight to me. "Oh baby I'm so sorry, I was on the other side of town but I got here as fast as I could." He sits down in an empty chair next to me.
"It's okay babe, as long as you're here now." We kiss and my mom comes back and sits on the other side of me. "He said he'll get us in as soon as he can." I sigh. "Wait, what exactly happen?" "I was trying on shoes for mom's wedding. She wanted me to wear flats but I wanted to wear heels and I fell down the stairs walking in them."
Andy cracks up and I give him the death stare. "I'm sorry baby, that's not funny." He face is turning red. "I hope you explode into ketchup." He continues laughing and he goes to the water fountain and grabs three cups.
"I'm sorry, babe but you know you can't walk in heels. Remember the last time?" I roll my eyes and put my hand up to silence him. "Whatever, now I have to wear flats." "If you can even walk." My mom says.
We hear my name called and Andy pushes me behind the nurse who takes us back to the exam room. "The doctor will be in here soon." She says and walks out.
The doctor came in, did some xrays and told me my ankle was sprained and I shouldn't walk on it but by the wedding in two weeks, I should be fine but still tread lightly. Ironic because I was supposed to be going swimming with the girls this weekend.
~~~~fast forward two weeks~~~~

Today's the day my mom gets married to Steve. We're in the room in the back of the venue where you get dressed. Me, my friends, and other bridesmaids are already dressed, we are just waiting for mom to come out.

She doesn't come out for a while. I look at the clock on the wall and it's 11:46. She's been in there for over 30 minutes and the wedding starts at 12.

I go in the closet and I see her crying. "Mom? What's wrong? Are you getting cold feet?" She sobs. "I don't know if I could do this. The last two times I walked down an isle was when I got married to you dad, and when we were at his funeral. I love Steve but I'm scared." She hugs me and I hug her back.

"I know mom. I know you love Steve and I know you love dad. That's never going to change. But only your heart knows what it really wants even if you don't. And if your heart doesn't want to marry him, I'm sure Steve will understand, but do you really not want to get married?" She looks up at me.

"What did I do to deserve the best daughter in the world." I hand her a tissue and smile. "Being the best mom in the world." She hugs me again. Mikaila pulls back the curtain. "Are we doing this wedding or not? It's 11:53! And we have to fix your make up."

I look at my mom. She nods at me. "Let's go get me married." We fix her make up and we all position ourselves in front of the door of the church. First the bridesmaids and groomsmen. My mom asked me to walk her down the isle so I couldn't walk with Andy, Beanca is.

Old Brielle would be jealous, but new Brielle, she knows she's got her man. Two by two, they all walk in to the music of  Never Knew I Needed  by NeYo and disperse into each side. Steve's 4 year old daughter, Sophia, spreads the flowers around and my 10 year old cousin, Mateo, brings up the rings on a burgundy pillow that matches the bridesmaids dresses.

When the song is almost over, me and my mom step in the door and everyone stands up and looks our way. I can see Steve tearing up. Next to him is Andy who looks just as amazed.

We walk slowly so by the time the song ends, we are at the end of the isle. I kiss my mom on the cheek, hug Steve and stand in my place behind mom.

~~~two hours later~~~ (idk how long weddings are)
The ceremony was beautiful, everyone was crying. We follow Mr and Mrs Russo out into the reception area and it was just as beautiful. Burgundy and gold centerpieces, jewels hanging from the ceiling, a big picture of mom and Steve hanging behind what I think is the biggest cake ever seen.
I stand by the window with my camera tripod and watch my mom and Steve cut their cake. Suddenly, I hear footsteps behind me and someone wraps their arms around me. "Guess who?" "Peter pan?" I giggle andI turn around and kiss my boyfriend.
"You free for a little bit?" Andy asks me. I turn to the direction of my parents and my tripod. "I'm sure they won't mind. But I have to be back before they throw the bouquet." He nods and grabs my hand to guide me outside.
"It's beautiful out here. It would've nice if they had it outside but I know how much you and your mom hate bugs." We sit down on a bench. "Yeah," I laugh as I swat flies and mosquitoes away from me.
"I wanna ask you something." He holds my hand in his. "Anything babe." "Do you see yourself having a future with me?" I get taken aback. "I dont understand, what do you mean a future with you?" "I mean, I know we're young but being at this wedding and seeing how beautiful you looked, i dunno. Maybe it was dumb to ask." He lets go of my hand and starts to talk away.
I run after him. "Andy wait!" He stops. "I do. I want to get married, and have mini me's and you. I just never thought that was on your mind. I was just caught off guard." As I'm talking his smile gets wider and wider. "I'm so happy you said that." He swoops me in his arms and hugs me tight.
"I love you Brielle," He pecks my lips. "I love you too Andy." I peck back and we head back in the church hand in hand.
We get back just in time for my mom to throw the bouquet. "There you are, I was worried you were going to miss it." My mom says and pulls me to the front of the crowd.
She counts down. "1, 2, 3!" Everyone is fighting for it trying to reach it while it's in the air. That's why I wanted to to wear the heels. I wanted a taller advantage.
There was a lot of shoving and I found an opening and jumped. "I caught it!" As I came back down, I landed wrong on my ankle. Yes, the same one from earlier. Smh.
"Ahh!" I scream. My mom and Steve turn around and run to me. Everyone that was in the crowd to catch the bouquet were all around me. Andy pushes everyone out of the way to get to me. "Brielle!"
He helps me up along with my parents. "I'm fine, I just probably twisted my ankle again." They sit me down on a chair and put my foot up on another. "At least you caught the bouquet." Andy says and winks at me. I blush. "Yeah, I did." And wink back.
