Chapter 30.....

Brielle

"Brielle? Can you hear me?" I slowly open my eyes. I squint them until they adjust to the light. "Brielle?" I hear a lady's voice.

"Mommy?" I say dryly. "No Brielle. It's me, Nurse Holyfield." I immediately open my eyes wide and sit up.

"STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU DADDY STEALING BITCH!!" I slap her across her face. "Brielle! What the hell!?" Dadd- I mean Andy says.

"HOW CAN YOU LIKE HER MORE THAN ME!?! IS IT BECAUSE WE HAVEN'T HAD SEX!? IS IT BECAUSE I'M UGLY!? I AM I NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!?!?" I feel my self getting hot.

I sit on the floor and hot tears stream down my face. I start to scream and yell. "I HATE YOU!! I HATE HER! I HATE EVERYONE!! I WANT TO DIE!!!"

I run to the bathroom and lock the door. Andy runs after me and bang on the door. "COME ON BRIELLE, THIS IS NOT FUNNY!! COME OUT OF THE BATHROOM NOW!! PLEASE DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO YOUR SELF!!"

I open the mirror cabinet and grab a blade.

"PLEASE BRIELLE! DON'T DO ANYTHING THAT YOU WILL REGRET!!" He says. I touch my arm with the blade and press hard..

He bangs on the door repeatedly. "PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE OK! SAY SOMETHING!! I LOVE YOU BRIELLE!! DADDY LOVES Y.....,"

The room becomes dark and all sounds and sight fade away....

Anderson

I bang on the door hard. "BRIELLE ADRIANNA-MARIE MATTHEWS, I SWEAR TO GOD, IF YOU DON'T COME OUT OF THIS BATHROOM RIGHT NOW, I'M COMING IN!!" I yell, hopefully to make my point come across.

Brielle doesn't open the door and I can't hear her crying anymore. I start to get scared and tears form in my eyes.  I knock on the door one last time. "Br-Bri- Brielle?" I say timidly. I grab the key from my night stand and unlock the door.

I scream and fall to the floor. Nurse Holyfield runs upstairs to my room. She gasps and starts crying. She runs downstairs and comes back with her phone. She calls 9-1-1.

Operator: 9-1-1, what's your emergancy?

Amelia: *sobbing* M-M-My name is Amelia Holyfield, I-I am a Nurse at St. Mary's hospital. M-my patient j-j-just cut her w-w-wrists. We need an ambulance right now. *Andy sobs in the background* 

Operator: Ok ma'am. Just remain calm. Where are you located?

Amelia: 1124 North Florence Avenue.

Operator: Thank you miss. An ambulance is on their way. Is there anyone else with you?

Amelia: Yes, her boyfriend. The owner of the house. *Andy sobs in the background*

Operator: Thank you ma'am. You have been very helpful. An ambulance should be there shortly.

Amelia: Thank you so much sir.

Operator: You're welcome. You and the boyfriend need to stay together and comfort each other until they get there.

Amelia: Ye-yes sir. Will do.

Operator: Stay safe.

Amelia: Ok. Thank you.

Operator: You're welcome.

~~~~~~DIAL TONE~~~~~~

Moments later the Ambulance comes and gets Brielle. Amelia and Andy give their statements as of what happened. Andy road in the truck with Brielle, paramedics clean and bandage her arms as they travel to the hospital.

Amelia stayed back to call Brielle's parents. Jessica, her mom was an emotional wreck. Her husband, Steve comforted her, telling her that Brielle is a strong young woman and will overcome this.

All her friends and family gathered at the hospital. Andy's Dad and sisters came too. Everyone was crying and hoping that Brielle would be ok.

Andy never left Brielle's side. He stood by her at all times. He cried the whole time. He was never a religious person. But he loved Brielle more than anything.

He prayed to God for her to make it through this. He wanted to be with this girl for the rest of his life. Even if he didn't want to admit it. That was his A.J. side.

He prayed that if Brielle came out of this that he would be better for her. Make her happy, make her feel loved and cared for and appreciated. He would do anything for her. Give her anything she wanted.

God heard him, but didn't know if he was serious about them. He didn't know weither he should let her live or let her die. So he did what he thought was right. He did what felt right.

He wasn't sure that Andy was really going to do all those things he promised. So he decided to test Andy's love for her.

Andy was sitting next to Brielle, holding her hand praying when he heard a flatline..
