"Hello?" I said into the phone, it was more of a question since it's was pretty late.

"Hi, It's Emily".

"Oh! Hi Emily, how are you?"

"I am good. i hope you are doing fine?"

"Yes, Thank you. Did you need anything?"

" I just wanted to ask if you wanted to come by once again before you leave, say tomorrow morning?"

"Actually Emily, I am staying here for a little longer, so i can come by anytime you like."

"That amazing!" Emily said with utter delight. "I know its late so you should get some sleep, kid. I'll see you tomorrow. Good night."

"Good night Emily, and thank you."

"No problem, welcome to LaPush." She cut the call.

"What's up?" Richard asked. "I have friends that i am going to see tomorrow" i replied " Oh wow, look at you socialising!" he commented "Yep." I said with a smile on my face.

The next morning i woke up feeling very independent and free. I got ready and drove to Emily"s, parked four houses down and started walking, a couple of flowers in my hand for her.

Emily opened the door with a huge grin oh her face. "Hi" I said. "Hey, come on in!" I handed her the flowers and she hugged me. I was surprised at how comfortable I felt in this town with people I barely knew. "So, if you don't mind me asking, what happened? What made you stay? She asked excitedly. "Well, you, you made me wanna stay. I just felt like I had to, is that weird?" I asked. "No, no at all!" Emily exclaimed. She walked into the kitchen and I followed after. I told her about the reason I was here- rain water harvesting plants and how Mandy and Richard agreed to let me stay. We chatted comfortably, like we were old friends. "So we're gonna see if I can stay here for a week and if I am good we might buy a house here so I can settle permanently. I love this place." I finished off. "Good for you! Emily responded "Also you don't have to park your car down the lane, everyone already knows that it's yours." I smiled sheepishly and asked "Everyone?" She said gazing out the window " Yes, everyone. And here they come." I followed her gaze to see five very alike looking men walking toward the house. They were shirtless, allowing me to see their perfectly toned torso and arms. They had the same black hair and circular tattoo on their right arm. I doubted a second had passed because Emily did not look at me like 'what the hell dude, stop staring!'

They walked in the house and the air filled with heat and the scent of the forest. I knew Sam, Jared and Embry but not the other two. "Where's Paul?' Emily asked and I felt my heart expedite its speed "He went home first, will be here in a minute or so" Said Jared while gulping down 2 muffins in only a few seconds. Sam greeted me as did Embry. Jared asked me 'wassup girl' and I smiled in return as they all sat on the dining table. Then the door opens and I turned automatically, only to see Paul, my lifesaver in a black t-shirt and beige shorts looking like he escaped a professional fashion show. Something was happening to my body and I thought I was gonna faint when I heard his deep husky voice say two simple words "Hey guys." I wanted to look away but I couldn't when his eyes met mine. He held my gaze easily and said in his charming voice to me "Hey".
