A week went by Aurora was torn at Tom's absence.

The logical side of the brain praise her from staying away from him, she was finally getting to him. Hurting him in some way which she had found was a very hard task.

But she found Tom's weakness and much to her annoyance it was her. It wasnt hard to figure it out, she had a long time back in sixth year and he just backed up her early theories with the incedients that had happen in the forest.

She had had alot of time to think over his... out of character actions that had occurred at the tent. It was extremely rare for Tom not to be completely self absorbed and selfish, as rare as a diamond.

And most times the very few people who recieved these acts treasured them as if they were the precious stones, including her when she was young and naive.

But she had had the time to work out the ways to irk Tom. To make his blood boil.

By simply tossing the diamond as If it was a chunk of lead.

To not give him the satisfaction or the power to have you scrambling at his feet for scraps of his affection.

That was pathetic and Aurora swore she would never be pathetic agian. She wouldnt chase, she wouldnt stress, she woudlnt even think of him.

Ignore him, his entire presence and existence completely irrelevant. But she couldnt stop the small questions creeping up the back of her brain.

Why? Why did he risk his life for her? He had made it very clear that himself and his plans where far more prioritised than Aurora.

So why potentially jeopardize the entire situation? Sure she knew Tom wouldn't actually die due to his horcruxes but from what she had read a soul without a body is a fate worse than death itself.

Her mind ticked quietly in her skull going over different theories and ideas to explain Tom's actions.

It was a habit she had, to view people as puzzles. Mysteries she could deceiver and she was shockingly good at it.

She knew Tom was possessive of what he 'claimed' as his and unfortunately for Aurora, he had some how coiled himself around her and it wasnt likely he'd ever let go.

And she'd observed when she hurt he hurt too. It may only be slightly but it was still there. Like when she cut herself with glass to stop him from hurting Cameron Rosier or how he simply would not stop torturing her about the marks on her neck in forest or even insisting profusely on her resting after the panic attack.

It made her angry thoughts of him crack ever so slightly but she knew she must not thaw at his bare minimum.

So this could be used as a weapon. She could use herself as a voodoo doll so when she was hurt Tom would feel the pain.

Her thoughts wher interrupted when she heard a knock at the door. "Come in" she said as she pulled the large velvet drapes closed due to the afternoon dissolving into the evening, orange skies turning to navy.

Domminc opened the door with a smile. "Someones here to see you" Domminc said motioning to the hall.

Aurora quirked an eyebrow walking out to follow Domminc. "Who is it?" She asked, she prayed it wasnt Tom.

"I'm not sure, it's a young man. I dont know him but he looks familiar" Domminc said thoughtfully.

The two walked into the living room and she was supprised to see Sirius Black leaning back comfortably on the french sofa looking completely relaxed in a strangers house.

"Sirius?" Aurora questioned. Sirius turned to look her way and a beaming smile took over his face as he stood up.

"Ah Rory there you are" he exclaimed sending her a cheeky grin. "Sirius? As in Sirius Black? Regulus's brother?" Domminc asked supprise ovbious in her tone.
