This randomly came to me.... Also this is set between Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice... for reasons.... Also, cause I can you share a house with Athena. And you're 33 (Edgey being 35 I think (either that or 34))

I sighed to myself and I collapsed into my office chair. I'd just finished a stressful case and hadn't slept since the start of the case. I managed to win the case, knowing well that Wright hadn't been going easy on me. This was one of the rare occasions where the defendant was actually guilty. I laid my head on my desk and soon fell asleep after an exhausting three days.

EDGEWORTH'S POV

"You have to tell her at some point, Fool!"

"Franziska, please not now," I replied, rubbing my temples, "Why would (Y/n) even feel the same anyway? As far as I know, she's still annoyed at me for 'committing suicide'. She won't feel the same way."

"You've known her for what? 20 years? Maybe more. She'll forgive you but you just have to tell her."

"Okay, I will. Now can you please get out of my office?"

She smirked and walked out my office. I sighed and picked up the cup of tea sitting on my desk before taking a sip. I placed the cup back down and walked out, towards (Y/n)'s office. When I got to her office, I knocked on the door, only wanting to enter if she gave me permission. However, I received no response apart from a soft snore, you fell asleep didn't you? I opened the door cautiously, not wanting to wake her up and entered. I closed the door behind me and approached her desk to see I was indeed correct. (Y/n) has fallen asleep on her desk. I managed to work out she'd fallen asleep when she got back from the trial she'd been prosecuting. I bent down slightly and shook her. She leaned her head up and rubbed her eyes, looking at me, "Oh, hello, Mr Edgeworth... Wait, Mr Edgeworth! I'm so sorry for falling asleep! I didn't mean to!" She squeaked out, standing up. I put a stop to her rambling by placing a finger on her lips, "(Y/n), shh. You don't need to apologise. I understand you're tired and I'm not mad or anything like that. Just go home and get some sleep. Take tomorrow off and rest."

"Thank you, Mr Edgeworth. I'll be sure to. In fact I already know what I'm going to do."

YOUR POV

"And what might that be? If you don't mind my asking."

"Not at all, I'm going to go out for a ride on Twinkle," I responded, wording it in a way in that he might be slightly confused.

"Twinkle?"

And I was right, "My horse. Twinkle is my horse. I haven't been out for a ride on her for ages. Come to think of it, that's the same for Sprinkles too."

"Sprinkles? I'm guessing that's another horse."

"You're wel- nevermind."

"What were you going to say, (Y/n)?"

I sighed, "I was going to say that you're welcome to join me if you want, but I know you've probably got work to do."

"Work can wait, (Y/n). I'd be delighted to join you. But, you'll have to teach me how to ride a horse though."

I giggled, "That I can do, Mr Edgeworth!"

"(Y/n), how many times do I need to tell you? You can drop the title. We've known each other for 20 years, (Y/n), you can just call me 'Miles' like you used to."

"O-oh, okay. Well, i'll see you tomorrow then, Miles," I replied, walking out my office and back home, trying to hide the ferocious blush on my face.

EDGEWORTH'S POV

"You didn't tell her, did you, fool?"

"Franziska, please, this isn't the time."
