To avoid confusion, the reader will be referred to as "Miss Cykes" and Athena as "Ms Cykes". This is the only way I think of to do it without confusion.

"O-Of course, Prosecutor Blackquill. Please go ahead."
"I-"
"Hold It!" I shouted from beside Mr Wright. (I was helping him defend Athena).
"Miss Cykes! What is the meaning of this?! You'll have time for a cross-examination later."
"Please, Your Honour, this is important," I replied placing my left hand on the top of my right arm.
"What do you mean, Misss Cykes?"
"What I mean is, whatever Blackquill says, will be utter nonsense."
"Miss Cykes! I will not have you pulling a stunt like this in a court of law!"
"I'm being serious, Your Honour. For seven years... This case has been on my mind and I still haven't figured out why. But, now I know... It wasn't Prosecutor Blackquill who killed mother that day...

"What?!"
"Yes, Your Honour. I-I just want the truth to come out. It's not right that Blackquill should suffer for my wrong-doing."
"(Y/n)! What are you doing?!" Mr Wright asked me, sweatdropping.
"getting the truth come to light, Mr Wright. That's all."
"Miss Cykes, testify about the incident."
"Yes, Your Honour," I replied walking to the witness stand, which Blackquill had now vacated.
WITNESS TESTIMONY
--SEVEN YEARS AGO--
"That day, I had one thing in mind; talking to Mother about her using Athena in her 'experiments'. It wasn't right that Athena had to suffer for our mother's research. When I arrived at the Lab, only Athena and Mother were in the room, albeit, Athena was lying passed out on the floor. Anyway, I approached Mother and tried to talk to her, but she just said '(Y/n), I'm busy. I'll talk to you later.' It was then that I decided I couldn't let her continue her experiments on Athena, and the way that I thought to end Athena's trauma of being our mother's 'guinnea pig' so, I killer her. There's nothing left to say."
"Mr Wright, your cross-examination."
"Yes, Your Honour."
"Witness, please repeat your testimony."
CROSS-EXAMINATION
--SEVEN YEARS AGO--
"That day, I had one thing in mind; talking to Mother about her using Athena in her 'experiments'."
"Hold it! What do you mean by 'experiments'?"
"Well, both me and Athena have the ability to read people's hearts from their tone of voice and our mother for some reason, decided to experiment of Athena rather than me. I could have taken it better than Athena did and I tried to tell mother this but she kept saying 'Athena's powers are stronger' and '(Y/n), you can control it. The reason I'm using Athena is because she can't be at school due to her powers. You can.'"
"Thank you for that piece of information witness. Contiue with your testimony."
"Yes, Your Honour..."

Mr Wright went through my whole testimony but didn't find any contradictions. Mainly because it was all truth. Because I'd been investigating the case with him, I had access to the evidence we found so I could make sure my testimony lined up with said evidence. However I forgot to account for one fact: Athena.
"Hold it!"
"Athena! What are you--? Are you feeling okay?" Mr Wright asked her. I didn't even noticed she'd snuck up to the defence bench.
"I can hear it.. I can hear the voice in her heart. She's hiding something!"
"Athena, don't do this!" I begged, "You'll be wasting time! I'm not hiding anything! Every word of what I said is true."
"(Y/n), please. You may be older than me, but you're still my sister and I won't let you hid things from me!"
"I'm not hiding anything!" I shouted slamming my hand down on the witness stand.
"(Y/n), please! You are! I can hear it! You may not be aware of it, but I can hear it! Please, tell us the truth!"
"ATHENA! STOP IT!"
"NO! (Y/n) TELL US THE TRUTH! I KNOW YOU DIDN'T KILL MOTHER!"
"I DID! ATHENA! YOU CAN'T DENY THE TRUTH!"
"HOLD IT! Your Honour, can we get back to the trial and stop this sibling argument? It's getting out of hand!"
"Yes, You're right, Mr Edgeworth. Defendant, witness, cease this argument at once!"
"Yes, Your Honour."
"Sorry, Your Honour."
"Ms Cykes, you will be allowed to do you psychology thing. I don't know what it's called."
"Thank you, Your Honour," Athena replied.

"The court not finds the defendant, Athena Cykes... Not Guilty! Court is adjourned!"
I breathed a sigh of relief. Me, Athena and Simon were all found innocent and Mr Wright found the real killer. We all walked out of the courthouse with smiles on our faces and Athena jumped on Simon, nearly knocking him to the ground. I smiled at the sight, despite the fact I'd had a crush on Simon for the longest time. I let out a small giggle and Simon turned to me, "(Y/n)."
"Y-Yes?"
I noticed Athena with a smug smile and laughing her butt off.
"Can I talk to you please?"
"Of course you can!"
He grabbed my arm and dragged me off somewhere, "Simon! Can you let go of me?!"
He eventually did, "Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why did you attempt to sacrifice yourself to set me free?"
"Oh well, that's because of this," I replied. He looked at me confused before I leaned up and pecked his cheek. I broke off and returned to my normal height, "That's why. I've had a crush on you for a long time and it hasn't left in these past seven years."
"Well, that's good. Because then I can do this," he responded. I was going to ask what he meant but he cut me off by wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me into him, kissing me full on. I melted into it after the initial 'Oh my God! He's kissing me!' thing and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"I love you."
"I love you too, (Y/n)."
