Chapter 5: New Revelations

The next day rolled by all too soon and before you knew it, you were regretting staying up all night watching vines.
Hatsume, Kaminari and you met up at your usual spot and took the train from there.

"Mei-Chan, why are you in casual clothes instead of uniform?" You asked her.

"Well we don't need uniform since we're in the construction lab. Since there's a lot of oil and explosions, they'd rather we don't tarnish white clothes," she explained.

"That's actually pretty smart," Kaminari thought.

"If you'd be in another class what class would it be?" You asked them.

"Class 1-B. It's still hero course, so I'll take it!" Denki grinned.

"Maybe business course, that could be useful," Mei thought.

"Either support or business for me. It sounds pretty cool," you smiled.

"Last stop, U.A High. Transit to..." the robotic voice droned as the three of you got out.

"We'll see you in lunch Hatsume-San!" Denki waved off to her as the two of you raced each other to class.

Spoiler alert: you won.
Another spoiler alert: Denki is a very, very sore loser.

Unfortunately, your enthusiasm dimmed away immediately when English class started.

"Wake up, wake up! Shirakumo, gimme an answer!" Mic called on you mid-nap.

"Uhh... c?" You guessed drowsily.

"We're in numbers not letters Shirakumo. And don't think I don't see you sleeping over there!" He scolded you. "Yaoyorozu!"

"Number 4 is the wrong one," she explained.

Once that horror was over, it was time for hero training.

"I heard All Might's teaching," Tsu commented.

"That would be cool, learning from the Number 1," you agreed.

"I AM HERE, COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!" All Might boomed, running in.

"Alright, who's gonna break it to him," you asked.

All Might ignored you and explained how you were doing hero training, the first lesson being combat.

"Combat..." Bakugo grinned maniacally.

"... training?" Midoriya whimpered.

"WITH COSTUMES! FRESH FROM THE SUPPORT COURSE WITH ALL YOUR REQUESTS FULFILLED!" All Might continued yelling.

"On the bright side, we have costumes. Plus, not like anyone's going to die today," you shrugged reaching for yours.

Once you finished changing, you headed out and saw Kaminari. The two of you had nearly identical costumes, the only differences being that yours was waterproof, the visor Hatsume made for you and the mini first aid kit inside your jacket. The jacket also contained a bunch of clouds in jars you had stored away for emergencies.

"Aye, looking good bro!" Kaminari high fived you.

"Not too bad yourself Denks," you replied.

"Man, I can't wait to see everyone's costumes! It'll be so cool!" A red head grinned. "I'm Eijiro Kirishima by the way."

"Nice to meet you Kirishima, I'm Y/N Shirakumo. I like your costume, what's your quirk?" You asked him.

"It's nothing flashy, just hardening," he scratched the back of his neck.

"...I thought all guys could do that, why is that a quirk?" You whispered to Denki.

"No! Bad Y/N! Get that out of your mind!" Kaminari punched your shoulder.

"I get that often," he sweat dropped.

"Sorry. You seem nice though," you apologised.

"What's your quirk?" He asked.

"LOOKING GOOD MY ZYGOTES!" All Might yelled, saving you from an explanation that would probably take hours because of human stupidity.

"What the fuck is a zygote," you mumbled.

"You're the smart one here, don't ask me," Denki shrugged it off.

"I think Mei-Chan has the brain cell this week," you thought aloud.

"Doesn't she have it every week?" Denki jabbed.

"Shut the fuck up Kaminari," you glared.

"Ah, the last name card. How long do I have until I die?" He questioned.

"WE WILL BE DECIDING BY LOTS!" All Might finished, causing both of you to look at each other in panic: you missed his entire speech and had no clue on what the fuck was going on.

Thankfully, you managed to piece it together after the first battle. A Heroes vs. Villains simulation. Unfortunately, you picked K and were left without a partner but you figured you should be ok.

"Team K and Team G! K is the villain team!" All Might declared, picking the next pair. "Oh. Young Shirakumo, would you like a partner?"

"I'm good thanks," you declined.
You were up against Denki and Jirou, both of whom you knew the quirks of. Thankfully, there was a five minute gap before the heroes were allowed to enter so you could plan your defences already. You were on the 5th floor in the middle of the room so you decided to surround the nuke with clouds and wind as an insulating protective layer against Kaminari's electricity, and padded the floor with clouds so Jirou would pick up your footsteps less easily.

In what seemed like an instant, the heroes were allowed entry. Like you guessed, Jirou immediately pinpointed your location and sent Kaminari to finish you off. Luckily, you had an ace up your sleeve that he didn't know about. When the golden electricity came crackling into the room, you simply squatted and let it all cover you.
"W-what? That was my indiscriminate shock! You should've been unconscious by now!" He stammered, half brain-fried.

"I'll explain later. But for now, just know that I'm sorry," you looked at him guiltily, just when Jirou came running. "Perfect timing!" You grinned and squeezed the wind around them to immobilize the two.

"THE VILLAIN TEAM WINS!" All Might yelled through the speaker.

Kaminari regained stability quickly, but that didn't mean he forgot what happened in the battle room. He was pretty confused, you never told him about being immune to electricity.

"Denks if you think too much without having a brain you'll just hurt your head," you smirked at him.

"What was that move? You got declared MVP because of your planning which I get but I don't understand how you withstood-" he began rambling.

"I can manipulate weather. That includes lightning. Since it's a higher voltage than 1.3 million volts, that only felt like a tickle," you explained.

"You can do lightning? Why-"

"Because I can't control it. I hurt people. I can only increase voltage not decrease it. And even my lowest is high," you glared. "Anyways. School's over so I'm leaving. Bye, Kaminari."
You stalked out, leaving your best friend in shock (pun intended).
