U.A hero course students settle well into dorms thanks to new facilities

A new article had been released about your stay at the dorms, encompassing everything that'd happened during the short time.

"When did this happen, we were never interviewed?" You asked, confused.

That question only caused your friends to look queasy and guilty, though Todoroki spoke up.

"You were probably upstairs at the time or training," he sighed, guilt evident in his voice as well.

Another article was released beneath it, with a picture of Jirou and you as the front page cover.

Dorms provide high social interactions, but just how much is too much?

Quickly scanning the article, you instantly knew what it was about.

A scandal you thought you'd abandoned back in September, only for it to follow you until the end of November.

"They knew and none of you fuckers thought to tell me?" You seethed, livid.

Just then, a duo rushed into your common room, panting for breath.

"It's hell out there I'll tell you that much," Kendo panted. "They all want to know the details since everyone has a different story."

"We aren't free for interrogation-" Todoroki attempted to step in, only to coil back after you glared at him.

"At this point I don't know who I'm murdering first," you muttered, taming your quirk so it wouldn't accidentally activate.

"Hey," Monoma smirked at you. "Calm down, even we don't know the full story."

You sighed and closed the article, looking around for Jirou.

"Listen, I'd tell you, but I need her to agree as well. Along with everyone else involved in the mess," you groaned.

Kendo patted your back sympathetically at that, understanding why you were reluctant about sharing.

"You've gotta be kidding me right?" Bakugo snarled, stomping over to you. "Out of all the people you could tell, you're gonna tell this feral brat and his babysitter?"

You glared at the blonde, annoyed by his attitude. Monoma on the other hand, wasn't quiet like you were. He was feral and would defend anyone, especially if they were being trash talked about.

"I suggest you sort out your friendship with Y/N-chan before you decide who she can tell shit to," he snapped.

"Neito-kun, it's fine don't worry!" You defended, pulling him back before he could do more damage.

While you were thankful that he was ready to defend you, you'd also made it clear that you didn't need it.

Mainly because you'd gotten so used to it already, it didn't make a difference.

"So now you're on first name basis with-" Bakugo began, only to receive a slap from you.

"Listen you pathetic bitch, you can insult me but you do not get to insult my friends after you yourself were a coward and didn't bother to listen to my side. For what it's worth, he's got a better personality than you do," you snarled, ready to punch him again.

"Shirakumo-San, I've got glasses upstairs if you need them," Iida offered.

"You wanna be next, Four Eyes?" You threatened.

The boy looked away quickly, aware that you were livid.

"Sorry to interrupt your get together, but we've got a guest," Midoriya announced, gesturing towards the door.

"Well tell them to fuck themselves, we're a bit busy!" Bakugo yelled.

"Who is it?" You asked, nervous.

The boy just shook his head sympathetically, shooting you an apologetic glance. You instantly froze in your tracks, having understood the message.

"All of you, go to your dorms," you sighed. "Get Eraserhead, I'll answer."

Midoriya tried to stop you, stammering, though you ripped the door open to reveal the press.

"Miss Cloud Nine!" Various interviewers yelled, cameras at the ready.

"I won't do an interview unless there's only one journalist, one cameraman, and no one else around," you declared, shutting the door in their faces.

The hundreds of texts from all your contacts weren't helping your case either. This specific article wasn't only published in the school newsletter, but on various other websites as well. Considering your national status, it automatically spread like wildfire.

You sighed, leaning against the door.

Midoriya sat down next to you, trying to console you.

"It'll get better soon, right?" He asked, smiling slightly.

You looked up at him and noticed the worry he harboured in his eyes.

Midoriya Izuku was someone who showed a lot of emotion. But he knew how to regulate it to the point of showing no emotion at all. The one thing that never lied about him were his eyes, usually sparkling with joy.

You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him into a tight embrace to comfort both of you.

"Yeah," you whispered. "It has too."

The loud chatter and ruckus from behind all doors suddenly grew still as the only thing you heard was deafening silence.

For once, the blanket of silence wrapped around you in comfort.

It was short lived, as you heard the pounding knock on the large front doors mere seconds later.

"Everyone's gone, we've decided who'll interview you," you heard a feminine voice say quickly.

You sighed and stood up to open the door, to see a familiar reporter along with a cameraman.

"Momobami-San?" You asked, surprised to see her here. "I didn't think I'd see you after my interview two days ago, how are you?"

"I'm good Miss Cloud Nine, thank you," she replied, though her resolve was shaky and nervous.

You paid no heed to it, assuming she was just nervous to be in a new setting.

Sighing, you invited her to the common room for a seat, which she gladly took.

"Shall we get to it?" You asked, wanting to get it done with as soon as possible.

Midoriya had headed upstairs as well, out of respect for your conditions. Yet you still had him on speed dial in case something went wrong.

"Of course," the interviewer grinned. "The rumours have been stirring that you've recently cheated on a partner, what's your take on this?"

"I never had a partner," you replied stone faced. "The rumours were false, that's my best friend who I spent a lot of time with in preparation for the school festival this year."

Momobami looked at you in shock, turning to the camera.

"Straight from an important national figure, it's alright folks, nothing's wrong!" She smiled, settling the situation down instantly.

While you did have to lie, it was probably better than admitting to the story and needing to explain everything. Reporters are snakes who twist the words of any famous person.

You couldn't risk your friends or your reputation getting damaged further.
