all the chapters are kind of like a broken up full story so some might not make sense if you don't read the others. Reading "little sister" can help you to see all the characters or look at the character...
"Hey Mila" I say with a sad tone to my voice as I sit next to my best friend.
"What happened to you?" she asked worried. "Was it Ace? I swear to god I'm gonna beat h-" Mila rambles on as she was about to get up to go god knows where.
"No stop Mila" I say pulling her back down. "This is about Ace but I'm sure it's nothing."
"Aria that man adores you, if something is making you upset concerning him there's something obviously not right, that man would go to the other side of the world to give you something" She says grabbing my hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"Okay, so..." I say with a big breath "He hasn't been talking to me recently, I don't know what it is but I don't think i've done anything, for the past like maybe 2 days, he's been snooping around, coming home late, hanging out with Eli a lot and when I walk up to him he acts as if I just caught him doing something and he acts like he wasn't doing anything" I say feeling sad as I rant everything out to my best friend.
"Seems to me like he's planning something" Mila says. "Like I said before, even mentioning the word cheating in front of Ace and he goes crazy he would never ever do that to you, you might not see how much he loves you but everyone else sure as hell does" she laughs "It's lowkey annoying how much you love each other" she says with a big smile.
"What could he be planning that takes this much secrecy, we promised each other we would never hide or lie to each other" I say feeling sad again
"Are that you fucking dense" Mila almost yells.
"What" i say confused.
"He's proposing" she whispers.
"No no way" I say connecting the dots.
"Yes way he's been talking about wanting to marry you for years, now that you guys are of age, are financially stable and all that shit he's obviously going to" she says.
"Wow how didn't I figure that out" I say thinking back to how obvious it all is.
"Cause i'm just too smart" she says sitting back in the couch with a smirk flipping her hair over her shoulder.
"Omg we need to get these crusty dusty nails done" Mila screams grabbing my hand and getting her stuff together.
"Ok ok calm down Mila I'm coming" I say as she continues to drag me out of the house.
Once we made it to the nail salon they thankfully had enough space to get us in for our appointments.
Once we sit down and the lady starts doing my nails I feel my phone vibrate from my purse. As I take it out I see Aces face pop up on my screen.
"Hey baby" Ace says.
"Hi" I say back
"Where are you I just got home" he says confused.
"Me and Mila went to get our nails done" I say looking over to Mila who was talking to her nail lady about what she wanted.
"Perfect" I hear Ace whisper
"What'd you say" I ask with a smile
"Shit uh- n-nothing I said nothing" he scrambles
"okay baby bye i'll see you in around 30 minutes" I say
"Bye my love" he gushes before hanging up.
