valentines pt 2

ACE POV
"Wanna hang out tonight" Dante says coming up to me as I walk down the hall to English. "We got English too right" he asks again before I could answer the first question.

"No and yes" I say smiling thinking about why we couldn't hang out. I was going on a date with ARIA AMOS. THE ARIA AMOS. I spent a fortune on dinner tonight before I even knew she would say yes but clearly it was worth every penny. I just hope she doesn't hate dinner and then it would all be for nothing. But even if she did hate it I'd plan something else for her on the spot. Maybe we could go to McDonalds if she liked something casual. Or maybe A&W if she liked something hearty. Maybe we liked a picnic, that wouldn't be possible on the spot but maybe we could make go shopping and I could buy her all her favourite snacks and then we could-

"Bro" Dante shouts punching my arm.

"Ow" I say rubbing my bicep. Fucks his problem.

"Did you listen to a single word that came out of my mouth" he says looking at me.

"Of course" I say nodding my head. I didn't.

"What'd I say then" he says clearly testing me.

"You asked if we should hang out" I say smiling hoping that would be enough. I stopped listening at that.

"Yes... but I said that in the beginning" he says rolling his eyes. "Do you want to or not"

"I can't" I say biting my lip. Date. Aria.

"Why not, I have to show you my new game" he says his palms smacking his hips when he throws his arms up.

"I have a date" I say looking over at him smiling.

"The only girl that could make you smile like that would be Aria, and no way you went through with asking her" he says.
We stop talking for a second as we walk into class and find 2 empty next to each other in the corner.

"Well I did and she said yes" I say shrugging my shoulder. "Now shut the fuck up she's in this class" I say looking around hoping she wasn't already in class. There was a single desk right in front of me with Arias sweet name written on it.

"She said yes??" he whisper shouts smacking my arm.

"Yeah she did I swear, I even got a kiss" I say smiling at him like a loser. "It was quick and I could barely see her reaction but it was something" I say. I'll get a proper one tonight she promised me. Lets hope she's good at keeping promises.

"No way dude congrats that's amazing" Dante says holding his hand out for me to shake.

Right as I pull my hand away the lady of the hour steps into class looking as beautiful as always. She was wearing one of my favourite outfits today. A white crop top, flared brown pants and the brown converse I knew she always wanted. I'm not exactly sure how I know that but I knew it was true. She wore them everyday.

I see her eyes scanning the class and in my heart I wish those eyes were scanning for me but I knew she was just looking for a seat. Thankfully the seat in front was still open. Right as her eyes make it to my end of the class, I point to the desk in front of me making her blush as she makes her way over to us.

"Hi Aria," I say smiling as she sits down. She turns in her seat to face us, her hair flying to one side. God her hair looked soft. I got a waft of her shampoo and damn did that smell amazing.

"Hi Ace," she sweetly says back smiling at me. "Or should I call you Arian?" she says. I couldn't tell if it was a joke or if it was a serious question.

"Damn you got legal named" Dante says shaking his head.

"You can call me whatever you want" I say smiling at her. "Only my mom calls me Arian but you can too, it'll make you special" I say.
