The next day I woke up and Lexie was playing with my hair. Mer was watching me and smiling

"Oh you little" I started smiling and tickled Lexie

She started laughing.

"Stawppp" she laughed

I picked her up and sat her on my chest. I held her little hands. I started moving them up and down.

"How long have you guys been up" I asked Mer

"30 minutes or so" she said

"Oh" I smiled

"She loves your hair" Mer laughed

"She literally has my hair" I laughed

"She likes yours. I don't know what to say" she smiled

I lifted Lexie in the air and brought her back down. She was smiling the whole time.

"I think I'm going to take Bailey out and have a boys day. There's too much girly stuff in this house" I smiled

"Don't pretend you don't like it" she said

"Don't get me wrong, I love being a girl dad, but guys need guys time too" I said

"Mmhm" she smirked 

I started bouncing Lexie up and down. Mer started laughing.

"Ahhhh" I laughed sitting up

I hugged Lexie and put her in the middle of Mer and I. I got off the bed.

"I will see you girls later" I said

"Where are you going" Mer asked

"Upstairs" I smiled

She smirked at me. I left the room and went upstairs. The kids were in Baileys room playing Xbox. I walked in

"Are you guys doing okay" I asked

"Yes dad" Bailey said

"Yeah" Zola said

"Okay well Bailey and I are having a boys day and you girls are having a girls day with auntie Amelia and your mom" I said

"Whattt" Zola said

"Yes let's go" Bailey said putting his controller down

"You guys can finish playing. I'm going to make breakfast and we can start our day after" I said walking out of the room.

I went downstairs and started making French toast. I put milk, eggs, and cinnamon in a bowl. I heated a pan up with oil. I put the bread in the mix and when the oil heated, I put the bread on it. I simmered and flipped. I made 16 French toasts. I put them on a plate and cut up some fruit. The kids ran down and sat at the table. Amelia came down. I grabbed a bunch of plates and put 2 french toasts on 5 of them. I put 1 on a plate for Lexie and cut the pieces up. I put banana slices, blueberries, and strawberries on each of the plates. Mer walked out of the bedroom with Lexie. Lexie ran to the table. I cut his pieces up and gave him a lot of fruit. I gave him the plate and the kids all ate at the table. I poured apple juice in sippy cups and gave them to the kids.

"How's Haley" I asked Mer as I sucked the syrup off my finger

"Sleeping peacefully" she smiled

I handed her a plate

"Thanks. This was much needed" she sighed

We all started eating.

"How's scout" I asked Amelia
