So it was a new day in April, a little more cloudy than usual. It's April 13th, and it was gonna be a day of fun, so I thought. This is how it started off.

It went with my usual morning routine waking up at 5 am just to go to my online classes, which I'm really starting to feel the effects of going to bed late and waking up before the sun does. Its fine, fuck it whatever. Anyway when I was finished with my classes, it was time to leave with my dad.

He ended up taking me to my Tio's house, and I'm excited just to be normal again. I do not know how my dad does it, but he does and it's scary how much actually goes into it.

When I got to my Tio's, my dad left saying a goodbye love you, and to behave like usual. It was all fun, Scott and I decided to just play a couple of games, more like truth or dare, nothing too bad. I mainly just asked him questions of his childhood, and for dares made him eat some pretty disgusting shit.

Which by the way mustard and apple, never do it. It's just, just don't do it. After that horrible morning game, which I regret proposing but it's fine. What's done is done, I was starting to get hungry, just like Scott was starting to get hungry as well.

I was already dressed to go out when I got here, so he just got ready quickly and we were off on the day of our brunch date, is what we're calling it, because I have to name it something. I can't just leave it unnamed, anyway back to the actual story, I'm losing my train of thought.

Like I was thinking, when we got to a place to eat, we decided to just take the food, and then go to a park or something. So we got to the park, and then proceeded to go away from people because it was the most logical thing to do at this moment.

This pandemic has been easy for me other than the online school part, I hate that, but everything else, ya know has been fine. We have an excuse to not socialize with people, I mean I hated people for this whole thing has started, so I'm chilling for the most part.

ANYWAY let me continue thinking correctly, because it's been a long day. Continuing on, let me regain my focus meanwhile dramatically explaining this whole day again, because the events that take place are shocking. I have trouble staying on topic because it's not necessarily something I wanna think about.

So we were eating our food, when my family of 3 showed up. I paid no attention to it, and continued talking to Scott telling him everything that has been happening. I didn't think it would be of any significance. Wrong. I looked over to the family, saw a mom, a dad, and a little boy. Maybe like 5 years old.

I think they noticed me looking at them, mostly because I was staring for a while remembering when I used to go to the park with my mom and dad. My mom would always take photos meanwhile my dad was teaching a new sport, whether it be baseball, or soccer, or something ya know.

The guy looked familiar tho, I didn't see enough of his face until he stopped and stared at me back.

"Uncle Scott?"

"Yeah?"

"That's my dad."

"Your dad is dead though?"

"That's what I thought, but that's my dad, I know it is."

I was basically star struck, I didn't know how to comprehend the fact that my biological father was alive, the dad I thought I saw die before everything going black, is standing right infront of me.

"Hope?" He looked closer. "Is that really my little girl?"

"Dad?" He came to hug me.

"Is that really you?"

"It's me Hope, it's me."

"I thought you were dead, I saw you die, I saw the lifeless eyes."
