The school day was great, but the thing is, me and Mike had our first club meeting with Theater, the week before, so basically the 3rd of week of school during lunch they had the club rush, which is where kids figure out what they want to do.

We were a part of that, and recruited new people to have to deal with theater now. It's a great honor. Of course we had to wait, so we went to go get food, and mess around until the club meeting started.

When we got to the theater, Ms. Davis made the resident seniors get onto the stage. There was only 5 of us, kinda sad but whatever. Made us introduce ourselves.

"Im Mike. I am the best one here, and I can dance. So here we are. I'm really not, I can't act but since I'm a dude they need me here."

"I'm pretty sure they were expecting a last name too, but whatever. I'm Hope Evans, and I've just been a stage manager thing."

"I'm Layla Shade, kinda just been a background character."

"She being modest, Im Kurtis Wood, also they just need dudes."

"Then I'm Jayla Shade, now me and Layla are the only twins in theater."

"Okay, Marisol dropped out, plus we're cooler, we're boy girl twins. At least we do not get confused by teachers."

"Okay that's enough introductions. Auditions have started for Noise Off. Our resident theater members have to have dialog, they know that. Although one of them doesn't plan to audition so she gets to be with you guys."

Please don't be talking about me. Please don't be talking about me.

"Now everyone should be signed in, and with a number. So please sit if you aren't called."

I helped Ms. Davis with the auditions, basically giving pointers and what to do and everything. Then the last person auditioned and I went to get my stuff ready. The rumor was unfortunately true. She made me audition.

"Let's get one thing straight, I don't act. This going to be horrible."

Ms. Davis waved me off. It was horrible, to me at least. Yeah that was fun. When I finally got home though, I told my dad about the audition his words were: "You're going to be like me." Much to my displeasure. I'm joking.

When I was about to walk away, my dad stopped me, and told me we had information on everything.

"Okay so we are waiting on trial dates, but there is gonna be an arraignment, and of course if he comes out guilty, Sophia gets ready for a trial."

"Okay so when's that? And do we both have to be there?"

"No, and September 9th."

"Okay so September 9th, that's like 2 weeks from now."

"Yeah, we don't need to be there, you have to be there."

He was especially pronouncing the you part.

"Okay. Okay then, I mean I still have school."

"It's on a Thursday. I mean you can miss the 9th, and the 10th, then we can go from there."

"So back to La?"

"I'm sorry to say it."

"We're leaving as soon as it happens though, right?"

"Yes. I promise."

"Okay."

I went to my room, hoping everything was going to turn out okay.
