Look so next week is going to be the last day I ever have to see my dad ever again hopefully. Look everything that is leading up to the moment where I have to face him, has either been a complete let down, or had nothing to do with him which is why it was good.

Whatever, I remember once my mom told me that with ups and downs the ball goes further, apparently the ball was figurative for life. Mine has been full of them, so I'm hoping I live till like 50, because yeah.

If I make it to 50, then ya know i'll plan from there. Anyway I did my everyday life, and went to school. When I got there I decided that I should warn Mike that I wasn't gonna be here on Thursday or Friday next week.

When I saw him, he was talking to Riley. I still think she was a great addition to our friend group. I walked up to them, and said hi.

"Oh by the way, I'm not going to be here next week on Thursday or friday."

"Oh lucky, why not?" Riley seemed happy for me, and Mike looked like he was about to say. 'This shit again?'

"This shit again? Let me guess back to La?"

"Back to La, because of my dad."

"Bio or Chris?"

"Bio."

"What's going on with him?"

"Uhm just some court day."

"Oh. We'll tell you what happens, and it's not like you'll miss work. We do all our class work on computers anyway."

"Did you call work already?"

"Thanks Riley. Mike, you better not annoy her. Also yes."

"Trust me I spent like 3 months with her, we're good."

"Okay."

After the school day, like officially with clubs over and everything. I went back home, and as I was doing something for Art, I got a facetime call. It was from Sophia. I answered it to be met with a 7 year old.

"Sup little dude."

"Hey Hope! When are you coming over?"

"I'll be there next week for a little bit, how is everything?"

"Really really good. Wanna hear a story from school?"

"Go for it little dude."

"I have a girlfriend."

I gasped. Dylan started giggling.

"What's her name?"

"Willow."

"Okay little man, get it I guess."

"We started dating today. She asked me."

"Ah 2nd grade love."

"Yeah, Hope so next week, we can have a sleepover. We can make a fort, or have a nerf fight. We could play outside."

"Or we could just make a fort, and then we can watch marvel movies."

"CAPTAIN AMERICA!!"

"Sure."

"Cool. Okay you know math right?"

"Yes, why?"

"Can you help me?"

After I explained multiplication to a seven year old, we talked for a bit more, that is until Sophia had to take the phone. After that me and my dad decided to watch a movie.

"Dad, I should watch Grimm again."

"No, because then all I'm going to hear for the next month is how hot David, what's his name, is hot."

"I like how you remember the actors name."

"I know in the show it's Nick Burkhardt, because of how many times I've heard it."

"You're welcome."

"No, that was the worst."

"Wow, well he was hot."

"And also older than me."

"By a year."

"Still."

"I'm just saying Kelly Burkhardt, the kid, has a milf and a dilf."

"Sometimes I question what I raised, and how I messed up."

"You've only had me for three and a half years out of seven teen."

"I would like to see it as me having a great effect on you."

"Yeah, I have more morals now."

"That's a good thing."

"Also kids telling me my dad is hot, which is weird by the way."

"You're welcome."

"It sucks, also people telling me I'm only in theater because my dad was."

"Hey, I mean I'm still cool. Look where theater got me."

"Yeah, terrible character development."

My dad just looked offended, but it's true.

"I got a girlfriend in theater club."

"Then got dumped when the show was over. I on the other hand got a boyfriend and dumped him, and not because of theater. Then got another one like 6 months later."

"I thought he dumped you."

"Then he came back, I'm pretty sure that considers that I dumped him."

"That's also true, but he still dumped you first, you just put pressure on the wound."

"Hey he broke up with me for a reason, and now there's a boyfriend I have and it has worked out for the best."

"Yeah pregnancy scare, you lying, all that good stuff."

"Okay, first of all, I knew I wasn't pregnant, pregnancy is scary for you."

"You could never be so sure."

"Yeah but then I got my period two weeks later."

Yeah at this point we were just making commentary all throughout the movie, and my dad was judging me whenever I laughed at someone dying. It's not my fault alright, they just die funnily.
