IT HAD BEEN a while since the snake-man was taken away. He hasn't returned, but I have a feeling that he never will. A part of me, deep down, is glad about that.
"Subject 054 and 055, you are called from your cells." An agent instructs, a whole group of them right behind her.
As Buck and I exit our cells, we immediately look for each other. Our eyes meet, my panic fading a little bit.
Three guards are issued to me, forcing my head forward as we walk. Bucky is being lead behind me. Every time I try to look behind me to look at my brother, my head is smacked around to face the front.
"This is never how you should treat a lady," I scold jokingly.
"That's really funny, doll face." One of the guards sarcastically remarks.
"I guess I'm just that charismatic."
I'm lead the same way as last time, entering the lab. Once I see the same table I once was placed, I struggle against the hands on me.
"No! Please! No!" I turn my body, flipping the hands off me. Darting across the room, I issue myself a great distance from everyone.
Bucky's eyes are on me, watching my every move.
I stand in a defensive position, my hands placed in front of me. "Don't come any closer."
Electric shots course through my body as they shoot tasers at me. I convulse, eyes rolling the back of my head.
When I drop to the floor, I'm dragged to the table, strapped face down.
PROJECT SONGBIRD Entry #2 "The date is January 27th, same year, 19:18. After the break to give the body a rest without overworking it, we will proceed with Project Songbird. Prepping the third injection of Malemin, the shot will be given in the top left section of her back this time. Injecting the chemical compound, instant signs of rejection are shown. Check stats! Stats are at 118, BP 135/85. Vitals stable. We will proceed. Turning the subject over to her front up, we inject the SSS. Normal signs of reaction: screaming, thrashing, and enlarging in size. This is the first female to be given the SSS. It appears she has grown more muscular, but not as much as the males. I presume it's all on the inside. We will take a very short rest before injecting the last of the Malemin. After five minutes, we will continue. Turning her back around, we inject the shot in the upper left back. Irregular color of the veins are shown. Mostly the main arteries and veins turn a shade of green. Fascinating. Her convulsions and shrieking has come to a stop. We unstrap her, letting the subject sit up. Examining her back, she reacts positively to the injections. Small bases have now formed. Time of growth is still unknown. We will continue to observe. Close entry.
