(Glinda's POV)

"Momsie, do we have time to do a bit of shopping?" I ask as we exit Marigold's shop, and to our carriage.

“I don’t see why not. What did you have in mind to shop for?” Momsie asks as we are helped into the carriage.

“Well, I figured that maybe we can do a little wedding shopping for  wedding things, and honeymoon things. I want to get something extra special for my fiance,” I change my wording as we go by a group of people. Momsie chuckles along with Bessie. “What’s so funny?”  I ask them, confused looking between the two.

“What was it you had in mind?” Momsie asks, but I get the feeling she already has an idea of what I am going to be looking for, but I answer her anyway. “As you know my love and I will need proper newlywed night clothes, and there are other things we could use as well.”

“If you are looking for that kind of store I just might know where one is.” Bessie grins with a chuckle. Momsier and I looked at her surprised and a bit shocked. “What? I just so happen to have a girlfriend, and I know what turns her on.” She grins and laughs a little. Before either Momsie or myself can respond she is already telling the driver the name of the store.

“Um, Bessie, just where is this place we are going?”  I ask, glancing out the carriage nervously as we start towards the side of town I hadn’t ever been to.

“It's just the other side of town. Why?”

“Well, um, Bessie, it's just that… that...” I glance at Momsie a little pleadingly, and she nods understanding what I am trying to say. “Bessie, I believe what Glinda is trying to say is that we have never been to that end of town. You see, it isn’t really an area where people with our status go to shop.”

“Oh I know, but trust me, this place will have exactly what you need.” Bessie grins. “The best part is  I know the owner. She can hook you up with the best things you could have for newlywed fun.” She says excitedly.

I am wondering if I am going to regret this, but Bessie looks so excited and giving me a pleading look.  “Um, oh, um… okay…” I say slowly with an equally slow nod. “I suppose I could take a look around.”

“Yay!” Bessie squeals happily. “You won’t regret this I swear!”  Then she looks at Momsie. “Will you be joining us?”

Momsie looks uncertain and then sighs. “I think I will let you two take this shopping trip yourselves, and I will wait for you two at the hotel. I am actually rather tired and have a slight headache.”

“Oh no! Momsie, you aren’t sick are you?” I ask worriedly, taking her hand in mine, and she shakes her head. “No, Glinda, I am not. I am just a bit tired. You girls enjoy yourselves. I will take our bags to the room and get a nap in before we spend the evening out as well. Have fun!” She smiles as the carriage rolls up to the shop.
