(Glinda's POV)

We were listening to the waitress when all the sudden she looks alarmed. “Excuse me Miss, but are you okay?”  I notice she is staring at Elphie, and I quickly follow her look and my eyes go wide. “Oh no! This isn't good!” I say trying not to panic.

Elphie is sitting there hands over her ears, and trembling. She looks as if she is going to either be sick or pass out, but judging by the hazy, far away, scared look in her eyes she is about to do both! “Fae!” I take her hand.

“I'll hail a carriage.” Bessie says quickly and heads outside. Momsie and I try to quietly coax Elphie to calm down and come with us. By now several other guests at the restaurant are watching with concern. “Shall I get her some water?” Celestial asks, and I glare, but Momsie answers. “No thank you. Fae occasionally has random times when she get migraines that basically shut her down, but once we get home and she gets her medication she will be okay.” I am very surprised that Momsie just lied, but then again she sort of had to I guess. The waitress nods. “Alright.” She looks at Elphie worriedly.

Bessie returns and an older gentleman follows. It must be the cabby. “I have a carriage waiting.” Bessie says and the older gentleman looks at Momsie and I. “Allow me to help you to the carriage. I can carry the young woman.” He says going over to Elphie, who's isn't doing any better. “Fae, this gentleman is going to get you to the carriage so don't freak out okay.”  I kiss her forehead. “I'm not sure she heard me, but go ahead.” I help Momsie and Bessie get the bags into the carriage after leaving some money for our beverages as the kind gentleman carefully lifts Elphie up and carried her to his carriage.

Once we are back at the house Momsie and I are trying to get Elphie to go into her room. Bessie had gone ahead to get her bed prepared and to send someone to fetch the the doctor.

“Elphie, honey, come with me.” I say quietly taking her hand, but she freaks out and starts screaming as if she is in pain. “Elphie! Calm down honey! You are okay!”

“They are coming to get me! I don't want to die! I didn't do anything wrong!” She is crying uncontrollably, and I'm very alarmed because Elphie doesn't cry. Maybe she has once or twice, but that is it, and never as hard as she is now. “All I wanted to do was help!” She whimpers shaking, and she continues to talk to herself, but I can't understand her. Momsie and I gently take hold of her hands to help her to her room, and that was a mistake because now she is struggling madly against us. “Please! Stop! Don't touch me! You're hurting me!” We let go of her and gently try and get her to move by talking quietly to her.

Finally, Momsie and I coax Elphie into her room and we get her bed. “It wasn't me! I was framed! I didn't know!” She screams again her eyes wide with terror.  She begins fighting us again, and end up slapping myself and Momsie a few times. She even landed a blow on Bessie just before Dr. Bek Mau arrives. He immediately has Momsie, Bessie and I leave the room.

I pace the hallway outside her door worried. “Why hasn't he come out yet?” I sigh irritated, and Momsie comes over and places a hand on my shoulder causing me to stop. “Because Dr. Mau has to make sure that Elphaba is going to be okay, and diagnose what is going on with her.”

“She had a panic attack!” I growl. “Anyone could have told him that!”

“That maybe, but we need to know what made this one so much worse than the last time. Glinda, she has never acted like this before.”  I sighs and lean against her. “I'm worried about her Momsie.” I mumble. “I don't want to lose her again.”

“We are all worried about her, and don't worry we aren't going to lose her again.” Momsie says hugging me, and leading over to a chair and having me sit.

A short while later Dr. Mau comes out. “How is she?” I ask standing. “Miss Thropp is asleep for the moment, but she worked herself into quite a panic. She was hallucinating. May I ask what was going on when she began to have her panic attack?”

“Well, we were in town doing some shopping and then stopped at a little diner. The waitress came, took our orders for our drinks, and then Elphie just started freaking out.” I explain as I try and recall the events leading up to Elphie's panic attack  when Bessie speaks up. “You forgot to mention the waitress was telling Lady Upland about the special of the day.”

“That's right!” Momsie says. “They had a special called the D.G. Supreme. It was in honor of Dorothy Gale. Supposedly it was to honor her birthday and demise of the Wicked Witch of the East and of Elphaba…” She says Elphies name slowly.

“I believe we just found what triggered Miss Thropp’s panic attack.” Dr. Mau says. “She will recover, but I advice to have her rest a couple days in bed before getting up. She has rather shaken from the whole ordeal.”

“We will make sure she remains in bed.” Momsie and I say step the same time. Dr. Mau nods. “Very good. I have also given her a sedative to help her sleep and applied some ointment to her face. The burns we're rather severe, but she shouldn't have any scaring. I will leave some ointment so you can clean and apply it.”  He hands me a vial. “Apply it twice a day.” I nod. “Yes, sir, and thank you for everything.”

“You're welcome. I am just glad I was able to help her.” He sighs before turning to leave. “Please keep me posted.”  I give him a smile. “I will.” I say and then go in Elphie's room.
