Drunk pt. 1 - Daniel Ricciardo

A/N didn't expect this to be so long when I started but I hope you like it as much as I do 😊

The groan that comes from next to you wakes you up and makes you become aware of the pounding in your head. You let out a quieter groan before placing a hand on your face, the cold feel of something shocking you. Your eyes snap open to find the source, but the first thing you see is a bedroom that you don't recognize. "Shit what did we do?" The deep voice makes you sit up and turn slightly to see the dark haired stranger looking down at his left hand, which is where you see a plain silver band on his ring finger. It takes you a second to process but your eyes eventually move to your own ring finger where you see a matching silver ring.

Parts of last night flash through your mind, first meeting the man next to you and then the drinks consumed followed by the running down the sidewalk together. "Oh my god" you murmur in complete shock, your eyes wider than they've ever been, "did we actually drink that much?" the stranger asks making you look up towards him. "This is bad, this is so so bad" you say feeling the panic rise in your chest, "hey" you look into his dark brown eyes seeing the concern in them, he brings a hand to yours. "So we got a bit too drunk, and we're married now, there must've been some kind of chemistry considering that we tied the knot" you let out something between laughter and crying, he grins which makes you do the same. "Can I be honest?" he nods and squeezes your hands, "I don't remember your name" he bursts out laughing and brings you closer, "Daniel Ricciardo" he replies with a smile, "I'm Y/F/N Y/L/N" you say.

He moves a hand to tug at your shirt, which you somehow didn't notice when you woke up, "my shirt looks so much better on you" you blush looking down at the oversized tee, which seems to be the only thing you're wearing, "I don't even remember taking off my clothes" Daniel touches your chin which makes you look up. "I remember it quite vividly" your face heats up at the way he's looking at you, "so you've seen me naked and I don't even remember it? that's lovely" you reply before huffing and closing your eyes to gather yourself.

That's when you feel the pounding still going on in your head, you bring a hand up to your temple rubbing it hoping to relieve some pain. You feel some shifting on the bed so you open your eyes a frown on your face, you see the Daniel has gone to the other side of the room where you see a suitcase. He turns towards you with a smile before walking over, "here this will make it better" he says while holding out some pain meds, you smile thankfully before taking the small container out of his hand. "All you have to do is ask and I'll gladly re-create the moment" he says with a wink, you blush again throwing back the pills hoping that he doesn't see your red cheeks as you swallow.

"Stop doing that" you exclaim when you look over at him again, "doing what Y/N?" you roll your eyes, "making me all flustered when we should be focusing on the fact that we got married and don't know anything about each other, plus what are we going to tell our families when they find out" he lifts an eyebrow with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I mean we can tell them that we got married and never told anyone about our relationship" you laugh, "be realistic Daniel, they wouldn't buy it, we should just get a divorce" the smile slips off his face as he takes your left hand playing with the ring that now sits on your finger, "but-" he starts while looking at you, "no way" you say cutting him off, "aw come on Y/N, wouldn't it be kinda fun?" he pushes out his bottom lip his eyes widening while looking at you.

A loud ringtone prevents you from caving. You jump off the bed darting to your purse that is discarded by the hotel room door. You fumble around with your phone before seeing your sister's name on the screen, you curse quietly and answer the call. "Where are you sis? Our parents are looking for you" she says immediately, you bring your hand into your hair tugging at it anxiously, "I went out last night and something might've happened" you reply quietly, "WHAT? Are you okay?" She exclaims making you cringe while peering over your shoulder at Daniel who is watching you. "Yeah I'm fine, I'll tell you everything when I get back" she huffs, "I can't believe something exciting happened to you during a family vacation" you bite your lip and look down at the carpet, "I'll be back soon okay" you mumble, "yeah okay see yah" she replies and hangs up.
