˜”*°• Imperial Majesty •°*”˜

"Keup!"

Navier choked when (Y/n) deliberately tossed all of her dignity out of the window, everyone turned towards them as she coughed.

Piere merely gave his Empress an unimpressed look.

She looked amused at her reaction and decided to say it again, "Sovieshu is a son of a bitch."

She gave out a silly grin and chuckled, "There is nothing more funny than watching someone suppress a laugh. Just laugh if you want to."

Navier didn't laugh though, but instead smiled at her silly behaviour.

"Well, I guess we can keep our letter exchange a secret. Let's keep the revelation of the pen pals remain a mystery."

The (h/c)-nette shot her a wink, the blonde shook her head and giggled at her, she sometimes couldn't believe that a sovereign from a very powerful family would act like that.

"It's for the best, I suppose."

She let out a toothy grin, taking her hands in hers and dragging her back to the center of the room.

"Now that those things are all cleared up, let's enjoy ourselves, shall we?"

'They must be talking about me...'

Rashta stood apprehensively at the doorway, her eyes peeked inside and saw that things were going smoothly.

Well, his majesty was inside so everything should be fine and dandy, but she couldn't help but feel anxious to a certain man.

Would Prince Heinley say anything strange to anyone?

The Eastern Empress was deemed unlikely to spread rumours about her, but she couldn't say the same to Prince Heinley.

It was then, Baron Lant appeared by her side, "You look blue today. Are you feeling well?"

"In truth, I'm not."

"You’re very honest."

She smiled at his compliment, Baron Lant was her favourite person— after Sovieshu of course— in the palace.

He wasn't judgemental like the others, she even heard that when rumours spread about her name the Baron was there to step up and defended her honour.

Rashta couldn't help but feel grateful to have a friend like Baron Lant.

"Rest assured, no matter how unruly Prince Heinley is, he has no choice but to yield to our Emperor. Although the Western Kingdom has been growing in power, it still cannot eclipse the Eastern Empire."

"Yes..."

"I will do whatever I can to protect Lady Rashta's honor, so go enjoy the last day of the celebrations."

The silver haired woman beamed up a smile at his words, she even almost shed a tear.

She nodded happily and her mood was lifted up in an instant. She was really grateful to have him.

She then mingled herself with the other guests in the banquet hall.

Those who didn't scorn Rashta, quickly approached her and showered her with the many praises and compliments their silver tongues could come up.

"The contrast between your silver hair and your dark eyes is so enviable."

"It gives off the feeling of purity, like a lily-of-the-valley."
