'Aether, please pick me up, I'm scared.'

It's only you, Scaramouche and a group of Fatui underlings who wait outside of the room you're currently in. Rosa was put into a cage which was brought somewhere else.

'How long are you going to sit there like a lost puppy that is too scared to make a single sound?', says the Harbinger's harsh voice.

'I am... supposed to say something?'

'Yes, as long as you aren't as deaf as you look like you should know that.'

You don't answer and stare at the ground. After a short moment of silence Scaramouche grabs you by your collar forcing you to look into his píssed face. 'So you're telling me that my 15 minute-long was for nothing? You have been ignoring me or what?'

'Well... You were constantly insulting me - ok you're still doing that if I think about it - so at some point I simply switched off since ... I didn't want to provoke you further by starting to insult you back. I mean, even if I only made jokes about your height I could talk a whole hour.', despite the seriousness of the situation you couldn't hold back the last part alongside a faint smirk.

The slight confusion on Scaramouche's face is followed by a sadistic smirk. 'You really have balls, don't you?'

It doesn't take long until you understand what the male has on his mind as you feel him applying slowly increasing pressure on your left ankle with his own foot. At some point pain becomes present too.

'Is something wrong?' It is obvious that Scaramouche is enjoying this.

'I got the m-message. No disrespecting remarks. I will listen to whatever you have to say, really, so please, remove your feet from my ankle.'

'You want mercy? Hm, your eyes don't look like they're sorry. I think you do need to learn your lesson.' He continues to apply pressure until you hear something break.

He lets go of you and you fall down the ground suppressing any screams or sobs you want to let out due to the immense pain.

'This... fúcking... bítch...'

The Harbinger walks away and sits down in the armchair he sat in before. 'A pained look suits you by far better. To get back to our previous conversation: The question I asked you is how much you know.'

His desired answer doesn't come as you are more focused on your broken ankle.

'Do you need a second lesson?'

'N-no, a b-brea-k m-maybe... This sh-shít really... h-hurts.'

'Then think about your words twice next time puppy. Either you talk or I will break bone after bone.'

You take a deep breath. 'Ok (Y/N), you can do this. Stop stuttering and don't give this jerk his satisfaction.'

'Then... specify your question. 'What I know' could be everything.'

Scaramouche sighs. 'It would be best to start with what you know about anything concerning Rex Lapis' death.'

'Don't know how accurate this is but if my visions are correct then Rex Lapis isn't dead. He made a contract with, I think, La Signora. He wants to test whether or not Liyue can defend itself or not. Using Childe as the fool who creates the whole chaos, the old man gets his test and has to give away his Gnosis in the end. If that version is at least mostly true I have one little question: Why are there three Harbingers in one city?'

'Who allowed you to ask your own questions?'

'Resist the temptation to get your second ankle broken. Why do I want to sass only those who will kill me without hesitation for it...'

'Nobody. If you don't want to answer you don't have to. I won't break your bones if you ignore it.'

'...Damn it.'

Scaramouche leaves his place again and kneels down to your level. 'It is rare to see somebody plead for mercy the one moment and the other to get hurt again. If it weren't for your ability I would kill you right on the spot. You're lucky that you are a puppy worth training.'

'Now it doesn't matter how I answer him anyways. Goodbye ankle, I will miss you.'

'First of all, do you give everyone you know for only half of an hour a nickname? Secondly, what are you going to train me? How to do the fandango?'

He pets you with a sickening sweet smile. 'You make it really hard for me to even fake a smile, did you know that? To answer the question from before, there are two Harbingers here because of the plan you previously elaborated and I am here solely to fetch you away from the traveler, though the others don't know that I am here. Now to the more interesting part... Are you ready puppy?'

You close your eyes, admitting defeat, for now.

'I pray that somebody will save me from here...'
