"Is it me or they've gotten bigger?"

Kyx is playing with his 'children', referring to the animals. Matapos siyang paalisin ni Luxifer ay agad siyang nag-lakad papuntang parking lot at gaya nga ng sabi nito nandoon si Kyx naghihintay sakaniya. Agad naman sila pumunta sa apartment niya at ngayon nandito na silang dalawa, naka-upo lang siya sa sofa medyo malayo kay Kyx na anina pa nakikipag-laro kina Lorenzo.

"Yeah. Also may pupunta dito bukas, lilinisin ang aquarium nina Luin." Kwento niya. "Also, I'm planning to put some cleaning shrimp sa aquarium nila." Eagin once mention putting cleaning shrimp on the tank is good kaya lang medyo mahirap mag-hanap mabuti na lang at hinanapan siya ni Eagin. "It will be good for them and us."

Tumingin lang si Kyx sakaniya bago binalik ang tingin kina Lorenzo, without a word she stand up and walk toward the kitchen, kukunin niya kasi ang treat nina Luin. She doesn't talk much, hindi niya alam pero mabigat pa rin talaga ang loob niya at parang tinatamad siyang buksan ang bibig niya. Tsaka hindi naman siguro mababahala si Kyx.

Nang makuha na niya ang treat nina Luin ay biglang nag-ring ang phone niya agad niya ito kinuha, her forehead crease. Luxifer is calling her. Confuse, she answer it still wondering why he called. "Evening. How may I help you?"

["How's Kyx?"] Before she could answer he spoke again. ["He's with you. I'm sure he's fine. By the way, tell him to get back here before 12 or I'll be a corpse."]

"No worries-" She abruptly stopped speaking when Kyx pop out of nowhere, agad naman niya ibinagsak ang cellphone niya sa mesa bago ito tinigan sabay ngiti, hopefully, her phone screen didn't crack. Hindi niya alam kung bakit niya ginawa iyon. Her body just automatically did that without any reason. "Hey. Need something?"

"Nothing really. Bigla ka kasing nawala." Ani nito habang kinakamot ang leeg nito na para bang nahihiya sa sinabi nito. Napangiti siya. Kyx look back at her and looks at her eagerly, it makes her heart flutter. "By the way. I watch this one Disney movie. Aladin, are you familiar with it?"

Tumango siya. "Oo naman. I've watched all Disney movies and by the looks of it, hindi ka pa nakakapanood no?" Tumawa siya. "Hirap paniwalaan na hindi ka nanonood ng Disney movies."

Umiling ito."I like horror more than anything else but you always mention how good Disney movies. I got curious and watch a few of them." Umupo ito sa isang stool, sa harap niya. "But it must be nice having a genie to have some of your wish come true."

Biro niya bago niya ito nginitian. "I can be your Genie."

Kyx looked at her, may maliit na ngiti sa labi nito. "Really?" Pangsa-sakay nito sa trip niya.

Tumango siya bago marahan inilagay ang kamay niya sa buhok nito at marahan iyon ginulo. "Yeah. Why not?" Tinignan niya ito sa mata. "I can be anyone for you."

"Then." He lean towards her. "Can I wish something?" Her heart beat wildly, emotion in Kyx eyes was so unusual it scares and thrilled her at the same time. Tumango lang siya. Then Kyx did something so unexpected. He smiled! Her breathing momentarily stop. He smiled! Like a big wide smile! Nawala pa nga ang mata nito!

"I wish that..." He stops for a moment then looks at her eyes directly. "You're not gonna give up on me."

She froze as she look at Kyx tantalizing eyes. Hindi niya alam kung ano ba dapat niyang maramdaman niya ngayon. Her mind is feeding her assumption, gusto niyang alisin lahat ng iyon pero umaasa siya na sana tama ang hinala niya pero mukhang malabo, maybe Kyx is just in love with the moment. Siguro gusto niya ang mga nararanasan niya ngayon.
