"You're welcome."

Napa-ngiti na lang siya habang hinahatid and client niya papalabas ng office niya, pumunta kasi ang mga ito para kunin ang video nito noon baby shower nila. She sigh as she sit down in her chair and started to fix her stuff, all her other work is done. She's good to go home now. Wala naman siyang ibang gagawin pa doon.

She's in the parking lot when her phone rang, agad niya itong sinagot bago inilagay malapit sa tenga niya. Hindi niya nakita kung sino iyon dahil binubuksan niya ang sasakyan habang sinagot iyon.

"Hello," She remark before opening the door and getting inside, immediately locking it. It became her habit recently, dahil iyon kay Kyx na lagi siyang pinag- sasabihan. Minsan nga nilalambing niya na lang iyon para hindi na siya pag- sabihan pa.

["Hey, you done working?"] The guy on the phone ask, natigilan siya. Kyx was breathing heavily parang kakatapos lang nito tumakbo. His voice is deep and hoarse, Damn! She's thinking differently again. Tangina naman. Kasalanan to ni Tate! [Did you also eat everything I delivered for you?]

She bit her lip. "Yeah. I did and about my work. Tapos na, pupunta na ako sa bahay."

Inaya kasi siya ng Mama niya na doon kumain ng dinner, hindi naman siya maka-tanggi dahil may sasabihin ang Daddy niya. Nasabi niya na din kay Kyx tungkol dito, kagabi pa kaya alam na nito ang plano niya. It's just the hobbies of theirs that they build over the past months, they tell each other almost everything about each other agendas.

["Hmm. Okay, be safe."] He then huffed gently. ["Can you update me every hour?"] Ani nito na para bang nahihiya pa. ["I mean, if you want. I just want to know what you're doing or where you are but you don't have to."]

"It's fine. I can do that for you, Lorenzo." Ani niya, damn. Kinikilig siya dahil dito. One thing about Kyx he's a little overprotective but he knew his limit. Kinda cute actually. "Don't drink too much. Okay? Also please don't drive. Hindi ka pa fully recovered baka ma- aksidente ka naman."

Nasabi na sakaniya ni Kyx na i-inom sila, his twins, and Dave have a tradition where they drink once a month. Hinayaan niya na lang, hindi naman araw-araw umiinom si Kyx at isa pa, it's their tradition. At least iyon ang sinasabi ni Dave sakaniya. Kaya hindi na siya nag- tanong or umangal pa.

["I will, don't worry. Mag-iingat ako para sayo, mahal."] Kyx breathily remarked. Her head stop for a minute. Mukhang nabahala naman si Kyx sa pananahimik niya. ["Hey, you there?"]

"Mahal?" That was the first thing she blurted, nagulat siya. Did Kyx did call her mahal?! What the fuck?! She can feel all her internal organs twist in a flattering way. She doesn't even know how to explain this! But wait, why is he calling her mahal? Is it his endearment or something? Woah, is it?

Kyx always call her in a sweet and seductive tone, atleast iyon ang pagkakarinig niya pero iba kapag may ganito! Ang tanda na niya tapos ganito siya mag react?!

["Yes, mahal?"] Kyx immediately answer as if he's been called by his boss. He sounded so adorable answering her. She can imagine him smiling teasingly at her. Parang pumunta ang lahat ng dugo niya sa mukha niya.

She shake her head but she's biting her lips, hard. She's afraid it might bleed. Hindi na siya teenager kaya parang gusto niya batukan ang sarili. "No. What's with the mahal?" She ask, clarifying her question. "Why mahal?"
