Chapter 76

"Love, Lorenzo?"

She pop her head inside Kyx's office and sure enough, he was there but oddly he was just staring at the wall. Mukhang hindi pa nito napansin ang presensya niya, she close the door gently before walking toward him, tumikhim siya para mapunta sakaniya ang atensyon nito.

Finally, Kyx look at her, her heart melted seeing how his eyes glowed up but she can tell that Kyx is bothered. Napansin niyang natutula ito minsan na parang malalim ang pinag-iisipan nito. Sinubukan niyang kausapin ito pero lagi nito iniiba ang usapan. It started the night after she got home from her parent's house.

"Hey, need anything?" Kyx stood up as he hold both of her hands. Half day lang kasi siya ngayon kaya nagpag-desisyunan niyang puntahan ito, it's already noon. Kyx arranged her table and food, pero may gagawin daw ito at babalikan lang siya kaso nabagot siya at wala siyang ganang kumain ng mag-isa. Kyx let go of her other hand before kissing the tip of her nose. "I'll be there in a bit. Kaya kumain kana doon. Susunod ako."

"Is everything okay?" She ask, discarding what he said. Kyx stared at her for a moment before kissing her forehead and sneaking both of his arms on her waist, hugging her and letting his lips rest on her forehead. She let out a satisfied breath. "Love, what's bothering you? Makikinig ako sayo. Alam mo naman iyon diba?" She look up at him.

Kyx stared at her. "My heart may be broken but a broken heart can still beat, right?" Kyx held her face resting his lips on the side of my head. "I'm willing to forget and leave everything for you." Kyx breathe out.

Hindi niya alam pero pakiramdam niya sinusuntok ang puso niya habang pinapakingan ang sinasabi ng binata. Hindi niya maiwasan maluha. "I know, Kyx." Aniya kasabay ng pag-yakap niya dito. "Pero hindi ako hihingin na may iwanan ka. Ayaw ko na may mawala pa sa buhay mo."

"Your love is different and I don't want to lose it." Kyx cup her face, he then stared directly into her eyes. "I may not be the perfect man for you but I will be, I promise." He smiled. "I will prove to everyone and you. I am the man who deserves you." Kyx held her hand and he slip a ring on her finger.

"Kyx. Saan ba nangagaling ito?" Tanong niya. Gusto niyang naririnig niya pero bakit parang ang sakit? Pakiramdam niya sinasabi ni Kyx ang takot nito. Ang bagong takot nito. Akala niya nawala na ang takot nito pero gumawa lang siya ng bagong takot para dito. "We deserve each other. Hindi na natin kailangan patunayan iyon!"

Kyx kiss her forehead, again. Niyakap siya tuluyan ng binata na para bang mawawala siya kapag bibitawan siya nito. "Stay with me. Watch me become the man who deserves you, Mahal."

Tears fall from her eyes helplessly, and her heart is beating wildly. Hindi nga niya namalayan na umiiyak siya hanggang sa pinunasan ni Kyx ang luha niyang namamalibis sa pisngi niya. She never felt so appreciated and loved by someone.

Parang lahat ng masamang iniisip niya nawala, lahat ng hinaing at pagdududa niya nawala. Kyx is willing to do all these things for her, kahit hindi nito sabibin ay nakikita at nararamdaman niya ang lahat ng sinabi nito.

She smile at Kyx, tears still falling from her eyes. "You're the only guy I'll love." She chuckled. "You sounded so sure. Do you still think it will be us until the end?"

"I know it will be us until the end. Mahal."
