The second point in our timeline was when I caught you crying behind the caretaker's shed before our first class of the day.
You refused to tell me what you were crying about, but you still accepted my company, nevertheless, and I appreciated that.
You didn't push me away, despite our previous encounter a week prior.
I'm pretty sure you even joked about my sad excuse of a scatter graph, as you choked on your tears─just to try and lighten the mood─but it was all a bit of a hazy memory.
Especially after you let your head rest on my shoulder.
It made me feel... happy.
I'm glad we spoke more often, after that.
Otherwise, where would we be now?
I'm so glad I found you, Chan.
Both in general, and behind that very shed on that very particular September morning.
Because that spot is where my feelings for you had really started to blossom─I just didn't know it yet...

i was incredibly excited to publish this chapter but i think that's just because i love how this book is turning out so far
i can't determine how many chapters this book is gonna have, but it'll probably be a shit ton because i've only just finished prewriting all of the chapters for 2007
