"Fine, can I ask you something?"

"You knew about it!?"
It was the first question Harry asked when they apparated at 12 Grimmauld Place and saw Sirius.
"About what?", Sirius asked
"About Dani staying with us", Harry said pointing at the girl
"Of course, I knew.", Sirius said smirking, "But Dumbledore, as usual, wanted that to be a secret"
Daniella watched them bickering with a smile on her face. These two probably argued like this all the time, she thought to herself. But Harry seemed happy, finally being able to live with his godfather, and that's all Dani could ask for...
Sirius approached the couple and brought Daniella into the hug.
"How are you feeling?", he questioned as they pulled away
"Great. It's good to be a free man, isn't it?", she asked
"Yeah", Sirius said grinning, "You hungry?"
"No, not at all", she waved him off
Sirius leaned on the table behind him as Harry and Daniella stood in front of him.
"How was your 'trip'?", he asked crossing his arms over his chest
"Well...you were right, he is odd", Harry said
"You helped Dumbledore successfully?", the older man asked them
"Yeah, Slughorn will return to Hogwarts", Dani said
"Wait...", Sirius said, furrowing his brows, "If Slughorn's returning, he will be your Potion teacher...what will Snivellus do?"
"Um...good question..." Harry said puzzled, "I didn't think about it"
"I think he will teach DADA", Daniella said knowingly
"Then he won't last long", Harry said
"What do you mean?", asked Sirius
"Well, all our DADA teachers didn't last more than for one year. You know all about Moody and Remus and others lost their memory, died or disappeared"
"Oh, well I'll be the first who attend his funeral then", Sirius said chuckling
Daniella shook her head in amusement, "Where are my things anyway?", she asked
Sirius straightened himself, "Everything is upstairs in the room you shared with the girls last time"
"Oh, okay. You don't mind if I go unpack?"
"Of course, no", Sirius said smiling at her warmly
