You stayed up working on a disguise pendant for your daughter checking on her smiling "Night my sweet Girl" yawning staying up drawing a design you eventually fell asleep at your desk Aranea woke up looking at you then slithered to your side looking at the design lightly shaking you awake "Mama?" you opened one eye yawning "Yes Sweet pea?" she pointed curious you smiled setting her on your lap "curious one huh? Well as you can see this little device is how you see mama today" you turned your disguise off turning human infront of her "see? You're half human and half demon, but when you get older you can make any decision you want" Aranea smiled messing with your hand repeating "Mama" over and over again you picked her up laying her down "Get some sleep" she yawned falling asleep.

Noon

You looked at the device testing it on a bird you somehow caught watching taking notes "Nice results now uh let me deactivate it" the bird pecked around the table as you grabbed the pendant from the bird "Well thank you for your cooperation" you received a chirp as a response it saw you open the window flying out chirping "Aranea is gonna love this," you froze hearing a car pull up looking down it wasn't Monty's car you quickly activated the disguise pendant heading to where your daughter is "Aranea! Get away from the window!" she slithered towards you gripping the pig plush you gave her quickly picking her up opening a portal to the human world. You panted closing the portal placing the pendant around your daughter's arm as she turned human "Mama?" you smiled in relief "Yes Sweet pea?" she asked why you yelled for her to get away from the window you sighed "my sweet Girl, there are things from Mama's past that she can't explain but mama was captured by a bad man a couple years back" Aranea held her plushie close to her "was the bad man still after you?" you looked at her face full of worry sighing "Yes Aranea but he won't find out on where we are. Let's go I know where to go" you picked your daughter up walking down the road looking at a familiar house "we're here" she looked at the house that's been abandoned for years making her question the conditions "why couldn't we go to grandpas?" you patted her back "Grandpa Arackniss and Mama are not on good terms right now.." you walked up to the house opening the door "Aranea go ahead and take a look around for a while I'm gonna clean and fix up the house" she nodded taking her first steps as a human looking at the old pictures and found a book "ooh what's this?" she turned around seeing you busy with cleaning and mowing the lawn sighing looking at the stairs carefully slithering up finding your old room and crib "whoa whoever lived in here must've been cold.." she looked at the name carved into the wood wiping the dust off "Y/n R/L/N? That sounds like mama's name" she looked at the old books while you were working on the house.

Sunset

You sighed finishing up the roof "There finished finally. I need to tuck Aranea in" you climbed down from the roof walking into the house looking for your daughter "Aranea? Where are you sweet pea?" Aranea climbed down the stairs hugging her plushie and a book "Mama? Can You read to me and my piggy?" you smiled nodding picking up your daughter heading to the couch sitting down reading to your daughter as she held her pig plush falling asleep you checked on your daughter sighing carefully getting up yawning looking into the fridge sighing "we may need to go to the store huh? And maybe new blankets" (keep in mind the house has been abandoned since the beginning of the story alright carry on) looking at the clock "it's only 12 in the morning?" you groaned then heard your phone ring "huh? Who's calling me at this time of the night?" you answered "Hello?" you heard sighs of relief "Oh thank Lucifer! You're okay we heard what happened at your apartment is Aranea okay??" you looked into the living room checking on her smiling "Yeah, she's fine," you heard your father sigh "Oh thank Lucifer, uh where are you two now?" you looked around telling him where the both of you are deciding to ask "is dad still mad about our argument?" your father sighed scratching the back of his head "Maybe, but he was stressed that day. So don't worry about it N/n" you smiled nodding "Thanks dad, I'll probably take Aranea to visit you guys in the morning, I gotta fix up this house" you heard your dad making happy noises smiling "Aww N/n! You are so sweet it's been a month since I've seen Aranea and you now get some sleep you'll need it," he said his goodbyes and hung up you set your phone down laying on the floor next to Aranea smiling falling asleep.

The next morning

You woke up hearing a knock "Huh? What time is it?" getting up to answer the door "Yes? Can I help you?" a old woman that had green eyes held a basket "Oh! Sorry to wake you dear, I noticed you fixing my daughter's house." she sighed smiling "you remind me of her, to be exact she had a daughter too her name was Y/n my granddaughter went missing when she was 4 months old she would've been your age now" you blinked rapidly then looked at the old pictures sighing "well my name is Y/n, Ma'am would you like to come in" she nodded walking in looking around smiling "Oh it looks the same before that day. She wasn't in her right mind when she brought that book around" your Daughter woke up climbing off the couch walking up to you "Mama? I'm hungry" the old woman looked at your daughter then gasped "Oh dear! I didn't know you had a child. She's adorable it's a good thing I brought my family recipe casserole" she put the basket on the table "And some fruits and vegetables from my garden" Aranea looked in the basket grabbing a peach and took a bite "ooh so juicy and sweet!" the old woman smiled "why thank you I grew them since the 50s. Ahh I remember when I grew up in new york I met the sweetest man. Sadly he got drafted into the war that year, I never told the man how I felt and then I met my daughter's father. A good man yes I loved him? Yes and no" Aranea tilted her head looking at you "Mama is she talking about grandpa Arackniss?" you sighed yet nodded "Miss R/L/N, I take it Salvatoris is the man you liked back then right?" she got real surprised and nodded "Yes how did you know?" you sighed changing into your demon disguise Aranea did the same she got startled then sat down "How? When?" you calmed her down "Ma'am it's okay we're not gonna hurt you, Aranea is too young and sweet to do such a thing" Aranea grunted reaching for a peach "Peach" you handed her another peach. The old woman sighed "My granddaughter has been alive this whole time? and Salvatoris raised you?" you nodded "yes He has a boyfriend, I'm sorry but You had happy times right?" she thought about it and nodded smiling "of course but I would like to see him again" you got an idea opening up a portal that leads to your father's house "Follow me uhh I uh never your name" Aranea slithered through the portal smiling "Hilda, Hilda R/L/N" you walked through the portal helping her through. You heard your dad clear his throat "Y/n." you sighed "Yeah Dad?" you both had a bit of a glare showdown you both snickered then laughed "Oh my Lucifer! I missed this dad" you hugged your spider father he looked behind you then froze "Hilda?" he walked up to her "It's been decades how have you been?" she smiled shrugging "Oh you know been missing my husband Hickory and my daughters and son one gone. One elsewhere the other Missing." Your fathers looked at each other as they continued listening Aranea slithered to a couch climbing up onto it. Looking out the window trying to find someone "Mommy? Where's Daddy?" Hilda raised an eyebrow "Her father isn't around? A man is never a man if he doesn't spend time with his child" you nodded turning to Aranea "Sweet pea I don't think daddy is coming back." she wasn't listening spotting Monty smiling opening the door "Daddy!" Slithering up to Monty smiling holding her arms up to him but got an unexpected answer "sorry Lass I don't know you" you saw that and got angry and changed into your demon form walking up to Monty "Montgomery" he looked then you gave him a hard slap in the face "Don't ever come near me or Aranea again" you picked up Aranea while she was crying handing her the piggy plush "Here sweet pea you dropped this" she looked at the plush grabbing it hugging it tight "sweet pea it's okay that means you get time with me 24/7 and the Egg bois are here when you need them, we don't need Daddy if he doesn't want a responsibility of a parent." Aranea looked up to you smiling "you're right mama" she hugged you tightly. Smiling you shut the door of your father's house setting your daughter down Hilda saw the whole thing "You'd make an amazing mother dear," you thanked her while Aranea interacted with the egg bois smiling.

Whew this is a long chapter enjoy. Damn I think Monty might feel that the next two chapters
