Chapter 76: The Finale!~

*(Y/n)'s POV*

"Tucker Foley will lead the construction team in building the transfer device while Jack and Maddie Fenton's team will spread the transfer cables across the globe." Danny explained to the United Nations live. "If we all come together, not as separate nations, but as one world, we can do this."

We rendezvous to the coldest place EVER on Earth.

Antarctica.

I shivered and I could see my breath as I drew it out. I even bundled myself up as best as I could, and it felt like my toes were about to pop off. It didn't matter.

Everyone had to suck it up.

"Not bad, huh?" Sam asked, and the cameramen finally left us to be in peace. Our friends joined up with us to take it all in together.

"Yeah," I said, and felt Danny coming up behind to wrap his arms around me. "Now all we need is a massive ghost power source." I looked at Danny worriedly. "Are you sure you don't want us to go with you?"

"I'm sure. I can move faster on my own." Danny reassured me, then he looked at Jazz. "By the way, where do mom and dad think Danny Fenton is right now anyway?"

"With them." Jazz said. "I redressed the Tuckbot 9000 to look and act like you. They'll never know the difference." I scratched my head. They wouldn't be that stupid to realize that Danny's not with them, would they? I paused for a moment to think for a second...Yeah, they would. My parents, too. They think I'm just fighting side by side with Phantom.

"Gotta go." Danny said, unfolding the Infi-map out. "According to the map, a portal is gonna open up over the pole any minute now."

Jazz tackled her brother into a hug, and once she let go, Sam did the exact same thing. I moved out of the way. "See you back here soon, little brother." Jazz said. "And thanks."

"Yeah, we'll be here waiting." Sam grinned. I was shuffling my feet at the snow nervously. Sam looked at me as I placed my hand over my arm, looking away. I felt her push me forward to Danny who smiled. "Your turn, (Y/n)~."

"What do you mean by that-?" I started to growl, blushing so much that before I could do anything, her and Jazz were already walking away.

"(Y/n)." Danny called out to me, and I stopped growling instantly. I was like a puppy. Ready to fight, but also ready to roll over.

I was still glaring at Sam, even though her and Jazz were near the transfer device.

Danny was chuckling at me. "(Y/n)." He called out again.

Woof. I shook the thoughts out of my head. Don't roll over. "I mean, uh...Yes?"

Danny pulled me in for a passionate kiss. He cupped his hands at my face when he pulled me in, and I just melted. I closed my eyes to angle my head so we could kiss better, and we kissed for what felt like forever.

I wanted to stay like this.

With Danny, I felt like I was floating, and maybe we were. I opened my eyes slowly to see that we were floating off the ground and were pretty high up.

"D-Danny..." I said, pulling back. He looked like he wanted to kiss me again, but we knew we couldn't. I held onto him so I wouldn't fall from the sky. I knew that if I did, he'd still catch me.

"I-If we make it through this, (Y/n)..." He started to say, but then I looked at him. "When we make it through this, let's get our little family back together, okay? I love you, (Y/n)."
