"What do you want for breakfast?" You ask, walking towards the kitchen.
"Um anything is alright." She says, following you to the kitchen.
"Okay, I'll just make some french toast real quick then we can get ready to train." You say, grabbing ingredients.
"You can cook?" She asks, shocked.
"Yes, why do you sound suprised?" You ask.
"No reason, you just seem like a sleeping all day type of person." She mumbles that last part under her breath.
"I heard that." You say, turning around.
You make french toast for the both of you. And you put some on a plate for her and then you.
"So what exactly do we have to do that's 'training'?" She asks, taking a bite of her french toast.
"My dad didn't have to train while you were New York?" You ask, suprised.
She shakes her head no.
"Well we'll start from the bottom then, I'll probably just teach you some hand to hand combat." You say.
"You should've seen when I took down this giant dude, he was like indestructible." She says.
"I'm sure he was." You say, sarcastically.
You both finish your breakfast and change into close to wear to train in.
"So are we just like doing this all in your living room?" Kate asks.
"Follow me." You say, walking outside.
"Don't tell me we're doing this in the snow." She complains.
You open up the large shed, revealing your new and improved home gym.
You both go in and closed the door, not wanting snow to come in.
You show her some stretches to do before you start. You then hold the punching bag and tell her to punch it as hard as she could, just so you could see what your working with.
She punches it.
"Nate has better form than that." You say, looking at how she just threw a punch.
"What do you mean?" She asks.
"Look." You stand next to her.
"First off your stance is completely off, stand like how you were a second ago." You say.
She goes back to the way she was standing.
"If you were even slightly touched you'd lose balance and fall." You say, poking her.
She stumbles back.
"Put your dominant foot forward, turn your hip just slightly towards me, now try." You say, going back to holding the punching bag.
She hits it.
"See, that was much better." You say, looking out from behind the bag.
"Now what?" She asks.
"I'll show you some different moves." You say, walking over to the mat.
After showing her some different moves she could use, you take her outside to the target your dad set up years ago.
You grab an old bow of his, and she grabs hers.
"I can't even see with the snow." She says, squinting.
"Well you need to learn then." You say, shooting and hitting the target at the edge.
She shoots after you, hitting the target dead center.
"Ha." She says, looking at you.
"I wouldn't 'ha' until you try this." You say forming a ball of snow.
"What are you doing with that?" She asks.
"Here, throw it high in the air." Yoy say, handing her the snowball.
She throws the snowball into the air and you watch it fall, you aim and shoot.
It was like it was slow motion, you watch as the arrow pierces the snowball making the snow ball explode everywhere.
"Your turn." You say, forming a snow ball.
You throw it and she shoots, missing terribly.
"So we'll work on moving targets next." You say, pretending to write it down on your hand.
