Someone's impatient

Kate's POV:

Yelena went off again and promised she'd come visit every few months or so. Five months had passed since Maria's funeral and Y/n and I still have as much love for each other as we did when we first met.

Every so often one of us gets sent on a mission, rarely it's both of us, and most of the time it's her.

This has been the longest 3 weeks without her. And I decided to make it special.

It is around 7 pm and although it's dark by now, the city lights still slightly light up the apartment, just enough so you can see where you're walking.

I hear the sound of keys unlocking the front door. "Babe I'm home!" Y/n shouts holding her bags, little did she know I did a little something for her.

She turns the corner into the kitchen and immediately starts to smile.

The kitchen is dimly lit by many candles and on each side of the table was a plate of food I had made, and a glass of wine. In between the two were a vase of roses.

It took a lot of time, but Y/n deserves every second it took.

I'm leaning back on the counter a bit, in the cutest outfit I could find.

She places her bag down and immediately gives me a kiss.

"I missed you baby." She puts her hands on my waist and puts her forehead up to mine.

"I missed you more." I whisper loud enough for her to hear.

"Impossible." She says with a beautiful smile.

"Come on, try the pasta I made you." I say with the biggest smile, grabbing her hand and taking her to her seat.

"I feel gross I'm going to shower. Care to join me." Y/n says with a smirk.

"You wish. I just showered, but we can have some fun after." I said laying on the bed.

Y/n stepped out of the bathroom, one towel wrapped around her, the other she used to dry her hair.

I looked up from my phone as she sat beside me still drying her hair.

"You look beautiful right now." I said, putting a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Just right now?" She asked with a fake pout.

"Mmm, maybe it's just because I haven't seen you in weeks." I said, taking the towel she was using to dry her hair, and tossing it on the floor. I turn around, putting one knee on either sides of her thighs, straddling her lap.

"Someone's impatient." Y/n said, putting her hands on my waist.

"I haven't seen you in three weeks, what did you expect." I say, cupping her face with my hand.

I give her a deep kiss, immediately she returns it.

She lifts up my shirt over my head, and tosses it on the floor beside the towel.
