"Phil?"
"Yes Dan?"
"How would you react if I said I didn't love you anymore?" Dan said motionlessly.
Phil jumped up, turning to fully face Dan. "I-I would punch you for lying t-to me obviously."
"Good." Dan smiled. "It was a rhetorical question my love." Dan smiled, cupping Phil's cheeks.
"Why would you ask that?" Phil questioned, still a little shaky.
"Because if I asked you the exact same thing a few years back, or even a few months back, you're answer would have been very different. But you believe that I love you right? Because I do, i've stuck with you all these time, I'm not going anywhere. You know that right?" Dan said softly.
Phil answered with a small timid nod, cheeks turning a rosy colour. "Y-Yes..."
"Do you love me Phil?" Dan asked, wanting to prove something.
"O-Of course! I love y-you so so much Dan! I really love you." Phil quickly. Dan grabbed one of Phil's hand, raising it up to his chest. Dan placed Phil's hand on his chest where his heart was.
Phil could feel Dan's heartbeat faintly, but it was going really fast. Abnormally fat and unsteady. He looked up into Dan's eyes to see that Dan was nervously averting his gaze with his cheeks too turning red. "S-See what you do to me?"
Phil giggled, simply pressing his lips to Dan's.
