Ah yes. A new day has come!

Sadly.

With chaos consuming my poor soul and life kicking my ass and handing it back to me on a sushi platter.

Anywhore—ONWARDS!!

|Athur's POV|

I stood silently in the tree line, watching the lances battle it out. It was honestly kind of beautiful to say the least, as Varay launched a large spear of ice way up into the atmosphere. Simultaneously, she conjured an ice barrier to protect her from Bairon's lightning that stuck out at blinding speeds at her. Her barrier cracked at the force that the lightning struck it, but I watched closely as the barrier resealed itself. I gazed in awe as the spear Varay had launched, exploded, sending down a flurry of refined sickles of ice that crashed back into the ground below creating large craters in its wake. As each sickle made contact with anything within range, it froze over, leaving a land of ice behind and freezing over the entire clearing. Mica was quick to react, launching herself into the air with a crazed smile as she pulled back her mace that was three times her size, and swung it down to the earth below, the ground shaking at the force as the impact shattered the thick ice that layers the tormented ground.

She laughed giddily as she landed, wielding her mace and smiling at Bairon menacingly as he crackles with white lightning. The air around him shifted and came to life as small bullets of white lightning formed all around him, spinning at unfathomable speeds before they nearly disappeared from sight. A loud boom resonates after the disappearance of the shining bullets that broke the sound barrier as they shot out at Mica and Aya, who stood wide eyes for mere mili seconds before moving to dodge the onslaught of attacks. The lightning bullets follow them effortlessly as I watch Bairon who still had his hand raised, guiding the bullets to attack his opponents.

Elder Levis stood from afar, watching with curiosity as Mica knelt down, placing a single small brown hand on the ground and suddenly, the gravity dropped exponentially. Trees smashed into the ground, rock crumbling into fine grains of sand and it took everything for the other Lances to not collapse under the sudden weight of Mica's gravity technique. The bullets pummeled to the ground at the sudden force of shifted gravity, creating an eruption of lightning that lashed out at the ground, frying the grass below that had caught fire. Though, that didn't last long as Ellie straightens herself, lifting her bow slowly and I watched as three mana arrows, clad in aether formed and refined before she aimed meticulously, and released. The arrows zoomed silently through the air as it hit its target, landing between Mica and Aya. As it made contact with the ground, an explosion of blinding colors erupts from the ground, the force blasting the two lances off their feet before they could react. I watched the explosion in amazement as the colors formed to what looked like a tiny display of an aurora.

"Well done, we'll done! I honestly didn't expect you all to grow so quickly in such a short amount of time. Your insight into furthering your abilities are coming along spontaneously and impeccably. That will be all for the day." Elder Levis walks forward from his spot in what was left of the tree line with a content and proud smile on his face. A smile a teacher would have seeing their prized student excel.

"Thank you master, we've been at it all day without breaks, I'd recon we'd better get stronger, else we'd be doing all this for nothing." Varay said as she bows her head in respect, the others, including Ellie walking over and making the same gesture.
