Part 59 "Unexpected Effects"

*Clatter* *Clatter* *Clatter*

The sound of metal shifting and clattering could be heard. The sound came from none other than the Two armored knight trudging through the street of the city.

"Is everything allright, brother? Something wrong with your armor?" The knight asked the other knight who was adjusting the gauntlets he was wearing.

"It's nothing, brother..... I was just amazed by how ancient this armor is."

"Agreed. These armor May not be as advanced as the power armor. But it'll serve until we get back to the headquarters. For now stay vigilant, there could be enemy amongst these civilians."

"AAHHH!!" The scream of a woman echoes from an alley and end up reaching the ears of the two Black Priors.

"I smell.... heresy... "

"Tread with caution, brother. We don't know what kind of abomination lurks. They could be expecting us."

The two Black Priors ventured into the dark alleys only to come across a lady who was about to be harassed by a thug.

They jumped straight into the scene. Lorderius secured the lady straight away, while Vorgen Rammed the thug with his shield. The thug fell down concussed and as he regained his senses, A sword was stabbed few inches away next to the thugs head.

"Hiiieekk!! B-black Priors? What are blacks prior doing here?!"

Vorgen: "What is the meaning of this? You're Disguising as a human? A meaningless effort. I can see through your disguise. You cannot fool me, xeno scum!!"

"Xeno what? Wh-what are you talking about?" He stuttered, confused by what the knight was saying.

Lorderius: "Are you alright, citizen?" He asked the woman in his arms.

"Yes! THANK YOU! oh Thank you Good sirs!"

The woman was overjoyed, she was saved minutes away from being raped that. She almost jumped and hugged the Black Prior.

Lorderius: "It is our duty to save a citizen in need. However we accept your gratitude. Now run along to safety, citizen. We have the situation under control."

The woman nodded before running away, leaving The two black Priors pondering about what to do with the rapist.

Vorgen: "Brother, how must we deal with this foul xeno?" The Black Prior asked.

Lorderius: "Nay Brother! That's no xeno..... " The other Black Prior replied.

Vorgen: "What?! It's not?!" He gasped, shocked by what his brother said.

Lorderius: "It's a human who has fallen under the temptation.... of Slaneesh!!"

Vorgen: "BY THE EMPEROR!! A SLAANESH CULTIST!!?"

Drawing his sword, Lorderius pointed the end of his blade to the heretic who shrieked in response.

Lorderius: "YOU ARE CONDEMNED AS A BLOODY HERETIC!!! YOU SHALL PAY FOR YOUR TRANSGRESSIONS TO THE CITIZEN OF THE IMPERIUM! A GREAT OFFENSE TO THE HOLY GOD EMPEROR HIMSELF!! PREPARE FOR YOUR JUDGMENT, HERETIC!!!"

Vorgen: "LET'S PURGE HIM WITH FLAME!!" The Black Prior suggested with great Enthusiasm.

Lorderius: "Good idea brother....however..... We cannot do that"

Vorgen: "WHAT?! WHY?!"

To think that his idea was turned down caused the Knight to feel Betrayed. There had to be a good reason that he wasn't able to burn the heretic to crisp.
