"I'm home!!" Payne said in a loud voice. He walked in inside their home and removed his military police jacket and hanged it on the coat rack.
Payne smiled after smelling a delicious scent coming from the kitchen. He felt his stomach boiled and even heard it growled. "I'm hungry! What's for dinner, love?!"
Payne made his way to their kitchen.
A smile crept onto his lips upon seeing his dear wife in front of the stove and stirring a stew on a pot.
Payne walked towards his wife.
"How's my wife?" Payne asked as he hugged his dear wife from the back.
"You're early today, idiot."
Payne chuckled and kissed his wife on the cheek. "Yes, I am! I missed you so I went home early!" Payne happily said.
"I'm surprised you didn't get your ass whooped by commander Nile."
Payne let out a small laugh, he remained hugging his wife and even planted soft kisses on her shoulders.
"Y/n..."
Can I just stay here?
Can't I just spend the rest of my days here with you, my Y/n...?
Y/n looked at Payne. "Hmm?"
Y/n.smiled when Payne kissed her on the lips. "You missed me that much? We literally live together." Y/n said.
Payne let out a sigh amd smiled,
he turned Y/n around to make her face him, his smile grew wider as he saw that Y/n's baby bump is finally showing. He put his hand on top of
Y/n's stomach and genty rubbed it.
"I guess I just love you too much." Payne said.
Y/n smiled, she wrapped her arms around Payne's neck and embraced him. "I love you, too. And our baby."
Payne placed his right hand on the back of Y/n's head while his other arm is firmly wrapped on Y/n's waist,
he gently caress the back of Y/n's head, then his eyes became glossy.
He just feels emotional yet also happy that he has such a pretty, loving wife.
And that he's soon to have his first child with the person he loves a lot.
