I get on my outfit. Im going as Jason from friday the thirnteenth for halloween.
"Let me get a picture!" My mom says while holding up the camera. I smile as the camera flashes. "Ok! Dont be late!"
"Bye!" I yell after her as i walk out the door.
I ride to school and see the boys singing Ghostbusters
"Oh god" i laugh.
"Wait, wait." Mike says while grabbing Lucas's shoulder.
"What?" Lucas questions.
"Why are you venkman?" Mike asks.
"Because im vencman?" "No, im venkman"
"Why cant there be two venkmans?" Will asks.
"Because theres only one Venkman in real life. We planned this months ago. Im venkman, dustins Stantz, youre egon, and your winston." mike says while pointing to everyone.
"I specifically didnt agree to Winston!" Lucas argues.
"Yes you did!" Mike says.
"I dont think he did." will says.
"No one wants to be Winston, man." Lucas says.
"Whats wrong with winston?" Mike asks.
"Whats wrong with winston? He joined the team super late, hes not funny, and hes not even a scientist!" Lucas argues.
"Yeah, but hes still cool!" Mike says.
"If hes cool, then you be Winston" lucas says.
"I cant!" Mike says quickly.
"Why not?" Lucas asks.
"Because..." mike trails off.
"B-b-because youre not black?" Lucas says, mocking mike.
"I didnt say that!" Mike yells.
"You thought it" lucas says back. They continue arguing before dustin starts yelling "guys, guys!"
We look at the bus. "Why is no one else wearing costumes?" Dustin asks.
We walked in the hallways, and people laughed at us. "When do people make these decisions?" Dustin asks.
"Everyone dressed up last year" Will says.
"Its a conspiracy i tell you" dustin says making me and lucas laugh. I see max skateboard to her locker.
We go to first hour. "Why didnt you talk to max?" I ask dustin.
"I got nervous" he says as max walks in the door. After class ends dustin and lucas walk to maxs locker.
"You got this" i mouth to dustin while giving him a thumbs up.
"Hi max. Im dustin this is lucas" dustin tells max nervously.
"I know. The stalkers. " she replies.
"Uh, no actually.... we werent stalking you" lucas says.
"We were just concerned because, you know, youre new and all" dustin says.
"Yeah, for your safety" lucas says.
"Mhm. There are alot of bullies here. Like so many, its crazy." Dustin says.
"Is that why youre wearing proton packs?" She asks.
"Well, these dont function. But... i do have this handy dandy little trap here" dustin says while reaching for a peice of his costume. "See, it even opens and closes."
