As soon as the group got home, Eleven used her powers to find Hopper.
"I found him" Eleven states.
"Where is he?" Max asks.
"Woods" El answers.
"Hes with... Will's mom" Eleven says.
"My-my mom?" Will asks, shock written all over his face.
"What are they doing?" Max asks, but quickly cringes at what they could be doing.
"Ill-annoy" she says. "Their going to Ill-annoy"
"Illinois? Illinois, like the state?" Mike questions his ex as she takes the blindfold off.
"No, the planet" Leah says sarcastically.
Eleven and Max go to wash off El's face. Meanwhile, Mike starts to rant about Hopper.
"Somethings not right. I can't get hopper off my back all summer, now all of a sudden hes hiking with Will's mom to Illinois? And Dustin's MIA too? I mean, this can't be a coincidence" Mike says, exasperated.
"What does it matter?" Lucas asks the pacing boy. "The bottom line is, their not here. Its up to us"
"Up to us to do what exactly?" Mike asks.
"Find Billy and stop him" Lucas answers.
"Okay yeah, thats a real nice sentiment but even if El could find him again, and thats a pretty big if, then what?" Mike asks.
"We burn the shit out of him, and make sure he dosen't escape this time" Lucas states.
"Okay, then what?" The black haired boy asks.
"Then we win" Lucas finishes confidently.
"No, see, thats the problem. We don't. We don't win. We got the Mind Flayer out of Will before and he just came back. We don't just have to stop Billy, we have to stop the Mind Flayer" Mike says.
"How in the hell do we do that?" Lucas asks.
"I don't know" Mike shrugs his shoulders.
"Maybe El does" Will pitches in.
"She can open the gate again after we find a way to kill the Mind Flayer, then she can close it for good" Leah agrees.
Mike turns to the closed bathroom door. "What are they still doing in there?"
"I don't know. Girls just like hanging out in bathrooms" Lucas says, mouthful of cereal.
"Why?" Mike asks.
"I don't know. Leah! Why do you hang out in bathrooms?" Lucas asks.
"I don't know" Leah answers, and she really didn't.
"They're conspiring against me" Mike dramatically states.
"Thats what you're concerned about right now?" Will asks angrily.
"Its not my main concern" Mike says. "Its just a sub- concern"
"I thought it was already over" Will says.
"Its not over, okay?" Mike asks. "We're just taking a break"
"She said she dumped your ass" Will points out. "That doesn't sound like a break"
"It wasn't!" Max yells from the bathroom. "You guys do realize we can hear everything you're saying right?"
Leah holds in her laughs as the boys exchange embarrassed looks.
Theres a knock on the basement door. "Not right now mom!" Mike yells.
"Mike, open the door!" Nancys voice answers from the other side.
Mike opens it and reveals a worried looking Nancy and Jonathan.
This'll be fun Leah thought sarcastically.
