Leahs pov
I slip my sky blue dress on. It was about knee length. My mom was behinf me, doing my hair.
"You look beautiful Leah" She tells me.
"Thanks mom" I say.
Theres a horn outside and I go out. Steve is waiting for me.
"Sup Hairy!" I greet.
"Hey Lola" he responds. "We need to pick up Dustin"
We drive the couple blocks to Dustins, who comes out with,... his hair like steves???
"Oh my god Dustin!" I say.
"You know you love it" He playfully says.
"You did well" Steve says approvingly, making me laugh.
As we pull up to the school Steve says "Alright buddie and lola. Here we are" then he turns his direction to Dustin. "So, remember once you get in there..."
"Pretend like I don't care" Dustin finishes.
"And lola,... you just keep it going with Lucas. That kid is in love with you" Steve tells me, making me blush.
Me and Dustin get out of the car, and walk into the building and see Mr. Clarke.
"Looking great!" He tells us.
"Thanks!" Me and dustin say in unision.
He checks us in and we walk into the gym. I practically run over to Lucas.
"Oh my god Leah! You look so pretty!" He tells me.
"Thank you! You look amazing too" i tell him.
When Dustin finds us, he sticks his tongue out and twirls.
"Holy shit! What happened to you?" Mike asks.
"What do you mean 'what happened'?" Dustin questions.
"Your hair" Max says with a look.
"Is there a bird nesting in there?" Lucas asks while ruffling it up.
A slow song starts playing.
"M'lady?" Lucas asks with a little bow, making me chuckle.
"Well of course" i say with a smile.
We go to the dance floor and I put my hands on his shoulders and his are on my hips.
We sway with the music when Lucas leans over and kisses me. I hug him and we sway like that. I see el.
"Oh my god. Els here" I whisper in Lucas's ear.
"Really?" He asks.
"Yeah!" I say as i turn us the other way so he can see.
He laughs in my ear "mikes is so in love"
"Steve said that you love me, is it true?" I ask
"I love you Leah" he says.
"I love you too Sinclair" I say.
This night is perfect.
