"Carmin!" Leo screamed her name over the phone, as he walked down the stairs. "You are not understanding!"

"Well can you just explain it to me rather than yelling at me like a maniac." She seethed back at him.

"You don't talk about me."

"Talk about you?"

"Nic or Marley talk about me, but you don't. I don't like it!"

"Leo, If someone asks about you, I'll tell them-"

It all started when Leo called Carmin. Someone on the other side of the phone just so happened to ask about her boyfriend, who "Nic" told them about rather than Carmin. Leo went off shortly after that.

"I-"

"It's not like I can just ease it into casual conversation. And it's no one's business anyway."

"You act like it isn't your business Carmin."

"Leonardo I don't get why you're being a baby."

"Because I want to be important to you, Carmin!" He seethed before hanging up.

He clenched his jaw and looked down at the phone with a glare."I'm mad at you Piccolina!"

Carmin called him again afterwards, but he didn't bother picking up. The angry dope crossed his arms and glared at the window.

"Having a spat?" Nona teased upon seeing her pouting grandson.

"Carmin is being difficult." He grumbled, just before he remembered something. He quickly dialed back her number.

"Leo?"

"I love you."He told her.

"I love you too."

"But I'm still being mad at you Carmin."

He hung up again.

"Even your arguments are cute." Nonna teased him, as she pulled at the ends of her dress.

The family had just ended taking their portrait photos, and now everyone was departing for the day.

"What's wrong?"

"She doesn't talk about me, Her Uncle is always telling her family or friends, not her."

"Leo the girl is kind of shy, I'm sure she speaks up when she needs to."

*********

Leo squinted at the other cars surrounding Nic's house. He wasn't in the mood to socialize with new people, but he had already mentally prepared himself to do so for an hour.

Upon entering there a couple people of whom he didn't know in the living room, and some lingering in the kitchen.

The chatter was lively, and music blasted through the house.

With a sigh he strolled up the stairs.

He made his way up to Carmin's room. He opened the door to see Carmin standing in the middle of the room.

Within a second Carmin opened up for him.

The young girl looked half asleep, and she was still in her long pajama shirt.

Leo locked the door behind him.

"Did you just wake up, little girl?"

"No." She lied, cutely rubbing her eyes.
