1. When do you begin your writing routine? (morning, afternoon, day, evening)

Writing a novel on a fixed schedule and routine isn't my cup of tea, well perks of being a dentist. Time doesn't allow me to do so. But if given a choice, I'd prefer to eat, write, sleep, repeat.

2. What do you need for your writing routine? (laptop, notebook, ect)

I need a peaceful environment to write apart from my mobile or tab. But duh, given my circumstances, it's hard to get what I want. (Blaming my neighbors obviously. wink!)

3. What is your main focus, when you're working on a story?

My main focus in writing my current novel is to maintain a unique plot with intriguing characters, who makes my readers struck in doubt of hating or loving them.

4. What is something important you've come to learn, since you've begun writing?

Narrative shape. Since I started writing, I realized one thing which is that even though I had a properly planned storyline, my multidimensional thinking leads me to somewhere out of the line many times. Also, Grammar and narration style is a huge challenging factor for every writer.

5. Do you believe having some sort of writing routine is helpful?

Maybe or Maybe not, It depends on the individual. But according to me creativity is not an outcome of routines.

6. What is a writing strength of yours?

Rich vocabulary, coherence and organized narrative style

7. What's is a writing weakness of yours?

Long-winded sentences and this gives me anxiety on whether my readers could read and understand my long sentences or not.

8. Do you ever share your writing outside Wattpad? (other social media platforms, family, friends)

I share my story with my friends but to my unlucky stars, none of them are interested in reading books and novels (Often I was mistaken by them as a studious kid for reading books. haha!)

9. What's a good piece of writing advice, when it comes to beginning a new story?

Just the plot line isn't enough to start a story considering, I've started a lot of stories and ended up ditching it in the 4th chapter. Character building, clear plot line with initial, middle and final inputs must be done before starting the novel. (Hoping I would finish my novel this time, bless me)

10. Who is an author you admire and why? (on or outside wattpad)

Khaled hosseini and Chitra banerjee are my two current favorite authors. Khaled's novels revolve mostly around the subterranean lives of people in the war ravaged landscapes of afghanistan. Learning the fact of how people struggle to just live had pinched my heart and that made me realize what a blessed life I had by reading his novels. The way he engages the readers into the strong emotions of people made me his huge fan. Chitra's mythology touch never fails to keep me hooked

11. Do you believe an author interacting with their readers is important?

Writers are nothing without readers hence they are very important as in how much fragrance is important for a flower and a flower without fragrance is nothing but a waste.

12. How do you believe a writer can build a fanbase?

A grip on fabricating strong emotions and engaging narrations, which makes readers so familiar with their own feelings plays a vital role in this. The more the reader connects themselves with the story, the more they become a fan for you and your writings.

{Story overview}

Title: Black coat Weds White coat

 |status: ongoing  | Genre: General fiction with a tinge of romance and mystery

Summary :

"I hate women, especially women like you" he spat, glaring at her, as if his glare could burn her into ashes.

"I too hate men, not only men like you, also the others" she hissed viciously with venom dripping in her voice.

It was hate at first sight for arrogant lawyer Abhijith and strong headed doctor Sangeetha. When fate put them under complex circumstances, they both had to succumb into a marriage of convenience. The two extremists with a mutual hate towards their opposite genders soon find themselves turning each other's life upside down. But their past mysteries, devastated secrets and unbearable need to hide their uncanny feelings put them in a state of perplexity and uncertainty.

Will they overcome their demons to look into each other's souls?

Will that fragile relationship stand over all the odds involved?

Will love prevail over ego, mysteries and ambitions?

What makes my story unique?

Unlike most of the romantic stories, where the good girl falls for the bad boy and the bad boy at her rescue, this is a story where two extremist protagonists were hell bent on destructing each other. And when they succumbed into a marriage of convenience only god and time knows what will happen?

Is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series?

stand alone novel
