1. When did you join Wattpad?
I joined Wattpad on January 12, 2013, I believe I was 16 years old.
2. What types of stories do you have on your profile?
I have romance and the supernatural, but I am thinking of extending my stories to different types of genres.
3. What is something you've come to learn about your writing, while you've been on Wattpad?
Wattpad has been a tremendous crucible for my creativity. I've discovered an enduring love for writing, and watching my craft evolve over the years has been nothing short of astounding. I attribute this growth to a higher power and the ability to create remarkable stories.
4. What do you think is important to have when creating a Wattpad profile?
Crafting an enticing Wattpad profile involves more than just words; it's about giving readers and fellow authors a glimpse of your identity. A compelling bio and an evocative profile picture provide a face to the stories and an insight into the creator behind them.
5. Do you think you should rush to publish stories on your profile, when you first join Wattpad?
Writing is an art that thrives on patience and creative thought. Rushing to publish can dilute the essence of your work. Each sentence, each chapter should be a labor of love, polished to perfection. The creative process deserves the time it requires.
6. Do you have any writing tips to share?
A valuable tip that has served me well is to keep writing. The mind is an endless wellspring of ideas and improvements. Even when your words seem to wander aimlessly, they are the steppingstones to brilliance. And always remember, if you enjoy your own story, many others will too.
7. What is your current story update routine?
We'll I am a stay-at-home mom for right now, so I try to update daily with maybe like 2-3 times a day.
8. Is there anything you would've changed to your profile, when you first joined Wattpad?
Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing about my original Wattpad profile. It was the starting point of my literary journey, a canvas on which my creativity bloomed.
9. When you are Wattpad, what is something you notice first on fellow Wattpad writer's profile?
The profile picture is my first focus when exploring fellow writers' profiles. It's a visual introduction to the stories and a peek into the person behind them. It may sound unique, but it helps me connect with the author on a more personal level.
10. Do you believe it is better to have a short bio section on your profile or a long bio section on your profile?
The length of a bio is secondary; what truly matters is its creativity and its ability to express your essence.
11. What do you believe is important to include in the bio section of your profile?
The bio section should be a reflection of your true self. It's a window into.
12. What are some suggestions you would share to a fellow writer?
My advice is simple: have fun, embrace openness, and engage with fellow writers. Your profile is your creative haven, so make the most of it. Enjoy every step of the journey.
