The brazen bull was a torturing device designed in ancient Greece.

The condemned were locked inside with a fire set under it,

Heating the metal until the person inside was roasted to death.

The device converts their screams into the sound of a bull.

Lust grinned, his red eyes lit up with so much fervor that it almost seemed cynical. "Okay, so what's the question?"

I rested my palms against the table and leaned back like I was actually thinking about it. My mind whirled with so many thoughts and I tried to not be distracted by his fixed gaze. According to the game, every question must center around me and my life. This means I can easily win if I play things right.

It's true that Liam and I had talked about a few things, but it didn't mean he knew every single detail about me. The amount of knowledge Liam has is directly equivalent to that of Lust. And just like him, I barely have enough clue about his life and who he was before we met. The thought made my heart pang with so much dejection.

One of the few things I know about Liam's past was Henry -- his ex-best friend, and Magaret -- Henry's dead ex-girlfriend. Liam had also stated, as a matter of fact, that he doesn't live with his parents. Which means he's always at Star-crossed inc. with Eros.

It made me wonder...

What do his parents look like? Does he have a human sibling? Did he decide to play this game to know more about me?

So many questions!

"You've zoned out again," Lust said with a furrowed expression. "Are you alright?"

I cleared my throat and avoided his gaze. "Yeah. Just thinking." I jumped at the first mundane thing that came to mind. "What's my favorite movie?"

Time paused for a moment before he quirked an eyebrow. "Is that a trick question?"
