After Zion's phone call, Liam and I met the rest of the group in one of Eros' guest rooms. The call alone felt more like a curse, signaling my upcoming doom. Well...not really.

We've revised the plan countless times, but that didn't mean nothing could go wrong. Try as I may, I couldn't get rid of my pessimism even if I wanted to. I wish I had more time with Liam. Anything to make sure I had ingrained his touch deep into my skin, felt every sharp and defined edge, memorized every taste, and uttered everything I had to say, both in the present and from the future.

But time was running out. Even if they gave me the rest of my life to wrap things up with Liam, it still wouldn't be enough. And yeah, I'm talking like a major simp.

After uniting with the others, we spent the next two hours going through our plan...again. With that in mind, we drafted out possible scenarios and how to counter them. My anxiety had spiked past the rooftops. And by the time we were done, I was shivering mentally and physically down to my boots.

I was willingly going to hand myself over to the fucked up Titan. Something anyone in their right mind wouldn't do. But if I don't make the step in taking out Epimetheus for good, Pedro, Liam, and the rest of my friends will die. I took another deep breath; probably the hundredth one this time. My desperate attempt to calm myself didn't go unnoticed.

Liam had to spend the next twenty minutes trying to relax my jittery nerves. Hunter wasn't doing so well. Throughout the entire meeting, he kept wrinkling his hands. His eyes never settled at one place for more than a second. And with every minute, he'll glance at the door, expecting Dimitri to walk through with probably a better plan.
