I bit my lip and pondered over Dimitri's words

I bit my lip and pondered over Dimitri's words. I remembered what Braidguy/Pride said about Liam;

He has the power to control anything with a brain. If he wants, he can take over kingdoms in one sweep.

It's easy to see how beneficial it is to have a Sin who had controlled Zeus and yet was not bounded by greek laws. But Braidguy was just as powerful as Liam. And maybe...just maybe, it wouldn't hurt to use Pandora to sway him to our side. After all, the best compliment he had given me was the fact that my fear excites him. And to me that's progress, right?

"Shit!" Dimitri jerked upright in his seat, his irises a deep purple as he gripped the armchair so tight his knuckles turned white.

"What's wrong?"

"That jerk!" He shot to his feet. "Vanni is sniffing Hunter again."

In a blink, he zoomed out of the library with a godly speed. The bookshelves rattled a bit from the slight influence. Vanni must be doing something really bad for Dimitri to run with so much discomposure. I sighed and walked out of the library with the pace of a mere mortal.

What I would give to have healing abilities and speed...

I dragged my feet out the door and headed down the hallway in the direction of the next class.

"And where do you think you're going, Miss?"

I didn't need a face to confirm who he was -- his voice was enough. I pivoted to the figure by the library door. Liam leaned casually against the wall with one knee propped up. A black hoodie was pulled over his head. It was unzipped, showcasing his sculpted torso. I bet he had conjured up the hoodie after appearing half-naked in front of Vanni and Killian. Serves him right for always transforming into his sinful form. Liam looked up, his cat eyes found mine almost instantly as he smirked.
