Demeter was the goddess of the harvest.

She farmed a lot of foods known to the greek people.

Demeter had a kind and beautiful daughter, Persephone.

Persephone, like her mum, loved nature.

I sank into the comfort of my seat and stared out the window. My eyes darted at the passing buildings, each more beautiful than the last. It's almost like we were heading deep into the city.

Night crept through the red skies -- a record of the passing time. I gripped my red purse, trying to figure out where we were going. I could barely register my painted nails as they dug into the hard case.

I sneaked a peek at Liam. His claws were long gone but I could still see the tiny scale fragments across his forearms. He drove the car with an air of nonchalance; like it was a second instinct. His muscled arm stretched beneath his fitting button-down shirt while the other rested on the console between us. I couldn't help but stare.

It's amazing how something so simple as driving could look so attractive. How will it look if I straddle him--

"I suggest you quit staring with so much lust, Gem. It will be bad if my entire concentration gets snagged. We wouldn't want to ruin this date, do we?" He smirked, eyes still very much cat-like and glowing.

"I don't stare like that," I said with a pout. If my thoughts were laced with Lust then he could very much read them like a book.

"Don't lie to me, Gem. I can smell your arousal from here."

What!? he can smell that too?

I sniffed the air, wondering what he meant. I got nothing. Maybe he was referring to the emotional type of arousal. Liam chuckled as he shifted the car gear and turned down a particular road. The skies were almost dark. Night was coming.
