The oracles of Greece were women chosen by the gods

They give divine advice,

And were popular throughout the greek empires.

Pilgrims would travel to ask them a question,

Just to receive an answer from a god.

"You just keep digging your grave, don't you?" Zion watched her with an apathetic look that somehow screamed darkness and death

"You just keep digging your grave, don't you?" Zion watched her with an apathetic look that somehow screamed darkness and death.

Gwen's eyes went agape behind her brown-rimmed glasses. Her light orange sweater and brown shorts made her look ridiculous. She braced the knife to Helena's throat, using her as a shield. "I'm very much aware that you will kill me if I ever show up in your presence. I just want to clear things up between us. Helena doesn't have to get involved."

That only got Zion twice as angry. "Did you actually think you could bargain with me using Helena? You would've had a better chance with Penny or Hunter."

Gwen was visibly shaking, she shifted nervously on yellow sneakers. "True. But doing that won't get me on your good side. Helena was my only option. She is your beloved, after all."

Standing beside Zion, I could feel the rage tumbling from him in waves, painting his godly aura in a frightening glow. I risked a glance at his eyes; they were switching constantly between brown and complete white.

Zion grunted and cursed at himself before mumbling in a low tone. "Shut up, old man."

Is he...talking to Zeus?

Seeing that her plan was having an effect on Zeus, Gwen jumped on the train. "I need you to accept me back."

Zion and I both went ghostly silent as she continued. "You did everything to save my dad and what I did in return was wrong. It's unforgivable, but you should understand that I didn't intend to betray all of you. After Henry bit me, I had no other choice but to join his pack. He promised to stop my transformation and bring my dad back so I had to do everything he asked.
