27- The News

"Where's my morning coffee?" Shawn practically slammed the file on the front table as he grabbed his chair. "You all are becoming useless with time!"

"Sorry sir I will go and fetch it right now" Megan said slightly frightened of his angry mood since morning.

"I don't need it now.." He loosened his tie. "Next time if my coffee won't be on my table after any meeting, you will be fired!"

"I understood sir! It won't happen next time."

"You can leave now.."

Megan stormed out of the room like wolves were chasing her. Jacob eyed her panic behaviour while entering Shawn's office but didn't ask anything because he already listened few of the workers talking about Shawn's anger today.

"Is everything alright?" Jacob asked.

"Why you are here?" He asked with the same frown he had for Megan.

"Right!" Jacob noded like he understood his behaviour. "I wanted to show you our slogan for the new campaign we started to promote our Franchise.." He put the laptop in front of his face so he could see.

"It's....I don't like it! There's something wrong."

"What? Everyone except you is praising it...there's something wrong with you not with a slogan." Jacob told him.

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about you wanna eat everyone alive in your office since you came.." Jacob was always straightforward with Shawn. "What's the reason of your anger? Tell me! Who made you this furious and you're taking it out on other people?"

"No one...I don't wanna talk about her."

"Her? Means it's about Camila...What did she do?"

"I have never seen a girl as stubborn as her....once she makes a decision and then became so adamant, it makes my blood boil." He spat clenching his jaw and jerking his left knee. "but I can't change her mind or  be mad at her. Whenever I look at her innocent face I can't do shit!"

"Ok calm down and tell me what happened now."

"Nothing!" He stated. "Nothing to tell you Jacob and I'll be fine. You should go and do your work."

"So you don't wanna tell me now...fine! I have my own ways." Jacob told and was about to go out when suddenly Megan appeared again.

"What happened?" Jacob asked seeing a prominent tension on her face.

"I- Sir-" She didn't know from where to start. "There's a news" She pointed the tablet towards him.

"What?" Jacob took the tablet from her hand to see 'New CEO of Maple corporation Shawn Mendes in a secret relationship' written in bold letters with a hot pic of Shawn on one side. He turned to look at Shawn who was staring back with questionable look on his face.

"Is there something about me?" Shawn asked.

"Hottest and one of the richest  Canadian hunk Shawn Mendes is allegedly in a secret relationship with a girl no one knows about. Son of the former CEO of Maple corporation Manuel Mendes took his father's charge a few months ago and is included in the list of rising young businessmen of 2022. Despite being known for his looks, charming personality and the success in the field of business, Shawn Mendes didn't spark any dating rumour since he joined the company. According to ET sources, he is now seeing someone special whom he really loves and is living with her in his apartment. It would be interesting to see who is the mystery girl he is dating as he didn't date any girl officially in the past...."
