When I finished getting ready I went downstairs seeing Luna in the kitchen eating cereal. When I went down some more I saw four men in black in the living room.

"Thea!" Luna exclaimed coming to grab my hand and drag me over to the counter which was close by the men. I looked over a bit and I was shocked to see Kai.

I cleared my throat putting my attention back on Luna but I heard him. "Thea?" He asked coming over by me.

"Hi Kai." I waved.

"You alright?" He asked.

"Im fine, thank you for asking.." I trailed off.

He shrugged. "No problem just know how off edge you would be." I nodded looking over at Luna. "Just text me okay?" He told me.

"I will." I assured. Still making small conversation Nicolas came into the kitchen glaring at Kai.

"Is something wrong?" He asked.

"No sir." Kai said clearing his throat moving away from me since he was close.

He looked a bit mad but I just shook it off. "Meet me in the office." He told them. They started walking to the back and Luna waved them all goodbye.

"You know Kai?" He asked.

"Not really..." I trailed off.

When I said that he just glared at me then looked at Luna. "Go into the living room Lu." He told her.

She slid her chair and walked out the kitchen while taking her bowl of cereal with her. "Where do you know him from?"

"It's not that serious- where did you meet him?" He asked again cutting me off.

"Oh look who wants the truth. I know you aren't coming to question to me after you've been lying to me for almost a month." I said.

"Thea- don't Thea me." I said cutting him off.

"Where do you know him from?" He said looking completely upset.

"I had sex with him is that's what you want to hear?" I scoffed going in the cabinet. The kitchen was silent making me look over at him seeing him with an angry look. He looked back at me making me move my eyes back to the cabinet.

"What?" Was all he said. I didn't say anything making him glare at me some more. "Thea." He called out.

"Nicolas." I responded.

"What did you say?"

"Why?"

"Thea." He repeated.

"I was just lying you know just playing the game you've been playing." I shrugged.

"Did you have sex with him yes or no."

"Why do you care?"

"You're having fun with this huh?"

"Want to know the truth? We met at the club the night I went out."

"So that was his cologne on you wasn't it?"

"Nicol- Answer the question." He said cutting me off again.

"It was." I said.  He just glared at me and turned around pouring himself something to drink.

"Are we going to finish that talk?"

"No." Was all he said.

"No?"

"No." He repeated.

I rolled my eyes and got up from my chair going over to him. "So you're not going to explain anything?"

"What is there to explain Thea? I told you everything." He said.

"You never apologized for lying to me, how would you feel if you went through the same thing I did? Coming home with someone else's blood on my shirt without explaining anything."

"I forgot you and I live in completely different worlds."

"Yes I see that now, which is why you should at least tell me or even assure that nothing else will happen."

"I told you, that night shouldn't have happened. I don't know what else you want me to tell you, I'm handling everything."

"I don't want you to lie to me anymore." I told him with my head down.

It went silent for a while and he hesitantly pulled me into a hug. The smell of his amazing cologne was flowing into my nose and I felt how warm his chest was. He felt so comfortable, I couldn't describe how good the hug was except on how it was the safest hug i've ever been in.

"I see how puffy your eyes are." He told me.

"You left me again ... I was scared out of my mind to fall asleep. So all I could do is cry." I told him.

"I'm sorry Angel."

"I know."

"I don't like Kai talking to you." He told me.

"Why not? He's just a friend."

"A friend that you sexually danced on. He's asked you on dates hasn't he?" He asked making me stay silent. "Which is what I thought."

"He's just a friend Nicolas." I assured.

"Doesn't seem like it." He said not even looking at me.

"He is."

"Fine. I'll take your word on it." He told me. He turned around and bent down to give me a kiss onto the lips. "What's wrong?"

"What do you mean?"

"You still look upset."

"Oh..nothing." I shrugged.

"Thought you didn't like liars." He said making me sigh.

"I was really scared that night."

He sighed. "I never should've let that happen. They're going to pay for all of it Angel, I promise you." He assured.

I felt like I just wanted to hug him at this point. He cleared his throat while I was still looking up at him. "I have to handle some things." He said making me nod. "Are you going to be okay?"

I nodded. "I'll be fine."

He kissed my forehead and picked up his phone going out the door. I hated when he left.
