THIRTY MINUTES was enough.

After resting for a while inside that cave, we decided to step out where the snow already stopped blowing hard.

I inhaled cold air in this now calm environment, gazed up to the white sky. "So peaceful."

"Meow~" it slips out its head of my neck shirt. Imitating what I'm doing.

Phoenix cleared his throat, while Leonidas and his wolf, which he named Nerfius already starts walking ahead.

Alistair taps my shoulder. "Let's go."

I just nodded.

"Guys. Kunting sandali na lang mararating na rin natin ang lungga ni Orikia." Our leader announced.

Our feet sunked on the road covered in snow as we strode up to this cold mountain.

"I hope there's no monster ahead of this path. Nakakapagod na silang labanan." Lucius whimpered while breathing heavily. Looks like he's weak in cold weather.

Maximo heaved a heavy sigh too. "I agree. Kailangan nating marating ang lungga ni Orikia nang hindi namamatay. So we can't afford to be stop to this point na malapit na tayo sa kanya."

Alistair looked over his shoulder, eyeing Maximo. "Basta't tandaan lang natin ang naging plano. I'm sure we can get through all of these safely."

Behind me, Kane groaned. "I really hope we can finish this already. Miss ko na ang malalambot na kama sa town. I want to sleep peacefully!" He wished with sparkling eyes.

"Can't argue with that." Leonidas butted in.

Then Phoenix laughed. "I know you all are tired by this very long trip. Kaya't bilang bayad ko sa lahat ng hardworks na naibigay nyo sa misyong 'to. Ako na ang bahala sa bathhouse fee nating lahat."

Lumiwanag lalo ang mata ni Kane, as Alistair got excited too. Maximo and Lucius were just, you know. Nothing seemed different.

Pheris heaved a heavy sigh, taps Phoenix's shoulder before passing through him. "Goodluck with that idea."

"Hindi ka nga makabili ng mas magandang boots. Nanlilibre ka pa." Leonidas commented. Our leader frowned which only everyone of us laughed about it.

"Magpatuloy na nga tayo."

With the map in hand, narating namin ang isa na namang kuweba sa muling patag na bahagi nitong bundok.

The air blows more colder and colder. By this strong blizzard, it's perfectly impossible where monsters can stay here for more than a single minute or even half, to try and wait for hikers like us.

Mabato ang kahit saang bahagi ng lupang aming tinatapakan. Nababalot ng niyebe ang mga ito at ramdam pa rin namin ang lamig na nanggagaling sa labas. Paunti-unti kaming pumapasok sa loob ng butas habang nauuna itong dalawa naming kasama.

Pheris looked on her map. "Mukhang dito na nga ang lugar na hinahanap natin."

We all looked to each other as we pulled our sharp metals out of its sheaths while walking with moderation.

"Careful, this side is kinda slippery." Phoenix warned us ahead. This dim rocky and snow-covered passageway gone narrower and narrower as seconds pass by.
